„We are aware that some of you have encountered issues while attempting to make a purchase in the Black Market.

We are delighted to see that so many of you are interested and even looking forward to this feature and would love to be able to cater to all.

Unfortunately, this enthusiasm has put our systems to the test and caused a number of you to receive errors.

We will be taking steps to avoid this as much as possible in the future, but we’re afraid some extreme situations could still sometimes result in overloads.

Please remember that the rules of the Black Market are that there are no rules and there may be times in which luck can play a factor into whether you manage to get your prized goods or not.”

WoT: March 5 Micropatch

Tomorrow, March 5, a small update will be released for World of Tanks that will fix some technical errors. No new mod folder needed.

Game servers and the clan portal will be unavailable from 06:00 to 06:45 (Moscow time). Planned server restarts have been canceled.

Note: this will likely change some Black market offers, or their order.

[NEW!] Rule Number 8: Don’t get greedy, and you’ll get the sweetest treat on the street!

Surprise, guys—there’s also going to be an open auction this year! The rules are simple:

  • I put one lot up for auction with a minimum fixed price in one currency (either credits or gold) and a limited number of offers (for example, X pieces).
  • You won’t know the bids of other players, so just make a bid that you’re willing to pay. After placing a bid, the amount will be deducted from your account. Just like in the closed auction, we won’t keep the amount you spent if you lose the bid.
  • When the number of bids per lot exceeds X+1, you’ll see the competitive bid. Decide for yourself if you’re ready to fork out the money for this lot. A tip from me? If you really want to get a chance to win this auction, then put your money where your mouth is and exceed the competitive bid. But no hard feelings, mate, it’s the Black Market, and we make no solid promises here. You know, someone can always come forward and outbid you…
  • The competitive bid is calculated based on the highest X bids and is updated every 10 minutes. The last update is 10 minutes before the end of the auction.
  • Change your bid as many times as you like.
  • At the end of the auction, all bids are frozen. You’ll no longer be able to change your bid.
  • The players whose bids are in the top X positions win.
  • The winners receive the desired lot, and all other participants’ bids are refunded, fair and square.

Sandbox 2021 3rd Iteration Start Date + Participation Rewards

The launch of the third stage of Sandbox 2021 (SPG rebalancing) with artillery changes is scheduled for Tuesday, March 9, 16-17 (Moscow time).

You won’t need to download anything again, everything is within the Sandbox 1 server. The SB client will update itself if you have checked in the WGC: “Update the game automatically”.

Several new personalization items have been added to the game client, which you will be able to get while participating in the Sandbox server tests.

  • Multiseason style awarded for participating in the sandbox tests

The Sandbox is a separate server where game developers and players can work together to test, evaluate and discuss new mechanics or ideas and decide their fate. Almost everyone can take part in the tests. Player feedback is taken into account in the game’s development work and directly influences future World of Tanks updates.
