🇵🇱Bóbr [Poland, TD-8]
Historical Reference:
Before the outbreak of the Second World War, Polish tank engineers were actively working on the design of new tanks and self-propelled guns. After Germany occupied Poland, most of these projects were abandoned. However, some Polish engineers managed to leave the country and continued their work in exile.

One of the conceptual projects developed in 1944–45 was a light tank destroyer that received the unofficial name Bóbr. The vehicle’s main distinguishing features included a low-profile hull assembled from cast components, an original running gear with independent spring suspension, and a 90 mm gun without recoil mechanisms. Thanks to its powerful Ford GAA engine and relatively low weight, the Bóbr self-propelled gun possessed excellent mobility. To reduce the hull length, the engine was mounted transversely. Overall, the Bóbr self-propelled gun design proved to be quite successful and innovative, but by the end of the war the project was no longer needed.
