WoT – G.I. JOE: Unique Commanders, 3D styles and customization elements

Various personalization elements related to G.I. Joe. We’ll probably get to know more details soon.

The 3D style “G.I. Joe ”for the 🇺🇸 TS-5

“We were convinced that the operation was going well and that everything was going according to plan, but then these… tanks… appeared out of nowhere. It was a total surprise. Maybe it’s our pride. Or overconfidence. Either way, we lost the battle that day. But not a war. Now that we know what we’re dealing with, our engineers are doing double overtime putting together a tank that goes head to head with this indoor beast. I bet if I look at the bar, it turns out they’ve had all their coffee. But it was worth it. This tank is a real miracle. In this tank, I am happy to go into battle every day, all week long. The engine purrs like a kitten, its firepower will certainly allow G.I. Joe save the day! Continue reading “WoT – G.I. JOE: Unique Commanders, 3D styles and customization elements”

Exchange Blueprints for In-Game Goods

Source: EU portal

From March 12 at 10:00 CET until March 22 at 06:00 CET (UTC+1), we are going to open a shop in-game that will allow you to exchange surplus blueprint fragments for valuable items.

It has been two years since we introduced Blueprints, a mechanic that grants a discount on the experience required to research standard vehicles to speed up the tech-tree progress. Since their introduction, players were able to collect national and universal blueprint fragments as rewards for merit, or as special rewards. Due to the nature of the mechanic, fragments can be for nations that a player has already researched. Those fragments are not lost, but will continue to accumulate in the depot, and can be put to good use, as soon as a new branch for the nation is introduced.

However, if you don’t want to wait for the next tech-tree expansion, you can now exchange fragments for other in-game items, but only for a limited time!

How does it work & where is the shop?

The Blueprint exchange for in-game items will open its gates in your Garage. Head to the “STORE” and click on the “BEST” tab. Transactions are similar to the exchange for a research discount. Once the special shop is available, use the interface to select the blueprint fragments that you would like to trade-in and choose your desired reward.

Keep in mind that you cannot mix National Blueprints and that the stock of certain items will be limited per account.

What can you get?

National blueprint fragments can be exchanged for crew books, well-trained new crew members, and two 3D styles.

Universal blueprint fragments can be exchanged for universal and personal crew books, various 2D styles, and World of Tanks Premium account time.

Sandbox Test: Reworked SPG mechanics – FAQ

Source: EU portal

The third iteration of a series of Sandbox tests has begun. This time, we are putting reworked SPG mechanics to the test.

If you would like to participate, download the Sandbox test server client and begin experimenting with the overhauled damage and shell system for artillery. We need your support and feedback for the test to be a success.

Before you jump in, we would like to clarify several details, quell any concerns, and answer a few of your frequently asked questions.

Reworked SPG Mechanics and Changes

1. What’s the difference between the new shells and what situations are they best suited for?

High-Explosive With Stun (standard). Penetration doesn’t change, damage is decreased by 10%. If it doesn’t penetrate, it doesn’t cause critical damage to modules and crew members. It has the smallest shell velocity, but the trajectory is better. This shell will be useful in situations when you need to hit and stun several targets at once.

High-Explosive Without Stun (alternative). This shell is useful for firing at light and medium armored vehicles. Its burst radius is two times smaller than that of a standard shell, and its area of effect is four times smaller.

At the same time, its armor penetration will be 50% higher than the current value, and its damage will be 10% higher. Also, unlike standard ammo, the alternative shell will be able to damage internal modules and injure the crew. Additionally, it has a higher shell velocity than the standard shell, but a worse trajectory.

Black Market: Rule Number 9

More explanations on the secret warehouse system. Source: EU Portal.

[NEW!] Rule Number 9: Buying contraband is risky, but worth it!

Didn’t expect to see me here, did you? Forget the Salesman. I stole his business and swiped several very cool vehicles from his Secret Warehouse. Now I’m the one making the rules in the Black Market, and it’s so much better for you, my dear customer! Why have a middleman when you can now buy straight from me?

I suggest you take a chance and participate in this underground sale of mine. This is how it will work:

  • Purchase a special access key from me to unlock the Secret Warehouse.
  • One of the vehicles from the previous Black Markets will be waiting for you in the Warehouse. Click on the button to see a list of all the vehicles available for purchase.
  • Spend credits on additional supplies, and I’ll bring out other cool tanks from previous Black Markets for you. The first unlocked tank and the vehicles from the additional supplies will be sent to free slots. They’ll be available for selection until the Warehouse closes.
  • You can only pick one vehicle from the available slots.
When you unlock the Secret Warehouse or pay for additional supplies, you won’t get vehicles that you already have in your Garage or that can be recovered in the Depot. Each supply contains a unique vehicle, and you will not receive the same tank twice. Funds for the purchase of the access key and your additional supplies are non-refundable.
  • You can order additional supplies up to 4 times. It all depends on how many tanks from the Secret Warehouse you already have. The cost of each subsequent supply is more expensive. Check it out.
Supply Cost in credits
1 900,000
2 1,150,000
3 1,400,000
4 1,650,000
  • After the sale of the access key starts, you have up to 24 hours to buy it, unlock the Secret Warehouse, order supplies, and choose a vehicle.
