 Overview

The core gameplay mechanics of this mode remain unchanged, so you can find all details in the updated event guide. We’re sure you remember the basic rules, but here’s a brief refresher just in case:

  • Choose to fight solo or in one of ten Platoons of three (in this case, there will be a total of 30 players).
  • In Steel Hunter mode, it’s every player for themselves. Your main goal is to survive at any cost, destroy all your opponents, and be the last Steel Hunter standing.
  • The total battle time is 15 minutes. Before the battle, you can choose from several spawn points on the map.
  • Seek and collect special objects (loot) that periodically spawn on the map. They contain resources, XP, and vehicle upgrades.
  • Battles take place on two huge maps (Dreamland and Arzagir 4.04) whose playable areas shrink over time. Escape Danger Zones, as they will destroy your vehicle once the countdown ends if your vehicle is still inside.

Supertest: 🇸🇪 Strv K (Initial Stats & HD Renders)

The Swedish tier IX STRV K heavy tank returns to the closed supertest after a year of hiatus.

In the past, this vehicle served as a support tank, but now the STRV K has turned into a classic heavy tank. The gameplay will be a mix of the M103 and T-10 games. Most of the tankers will like the STRV K and will manage to achieve good results in it.
Which STRV K stats have been changed?

The gun became more comfortable due to greater armor penetration with standard and premium shells (252 mm and 310 mm, respectively). The accuracy of the gun was increased to 0.34 per 100 m. The aiming time has also increased to 2.3 seconds.

The dynamics of the vehicle also improved thanks to the increase in horsepower per ton (16.4 hp / t), but the hull rotation speed decreased to 30 deg / s. Continue reading “Supertest: 🇸🇪 Strv K (Initial Stats & HD Renders)”

G.I. Joe and Cobra Join the Battle in World of Tanks

Source: EU portal

World of Tanks is launching a special collaboration, and all of you can participate.

Created by HasbroG.I. Joe is one of the most popular action figure lines in the world. Generations of kids in the U.S. and beyond played with them and were captivated by the struggle of the international elite spec ops team against their sworn enemies of Cobra, a multi-faceted and masterfully coordinated global criminal network. Uncounted millions of battles which have been fought with plastic action figures (often commanded by present-day online tankers) have elevated G.I. Joe to the status of a cultural phenomenon.

And now, one global cultural phenomenon is about to meet another. The famous adversaries from G.I. Joe and Cobra have come to World of Tanks to settle their scores in their impressive new vehicles, the B.T.T. (having the same stats as the TS-5) and the B.O.A. (having the same stats as the T-54 first prototype).

The exteriors of the B.T.T. and the B.O.A. are non-historical; their display can be toggled on or off at any time in your Game Settings, under the General tab.
