TAP Insider News – 15th January 2018
For the ones who repost this article, please provide the source in form of a link to TAP.
-The tier 10 following the T-10 will be the Obj. 777 II
-The tank following the Obj. 430 II will not have a fully traversable turret.
-Both tanks will come in 9.22.
A new tier 8 premium tank is coming out next week
WoT ASIA portal has posted an article about a new tournament that will take place in 22nd – 24th of January. In the article, one line caught my eye:
Plus, if you emerge top in this tournament, you could be one of the first in Asia to own a brand-new mystery Tier VIII Premium tank ahead of its official release next week (stay tuned to discover the identity of this tank)!
Could this mean that the currently CN exclusive ELC EVEN 90 finally makes an appearance in other servers? Or maybe could it be the Caernarvon Action X which community contributors got their rights to preview? Tell us your opinion in the comments below.
WoT – Insider Info 14.01.2018
Source: Rykoszet Insider
Today, the sekrit insider pulled up some nice info. First, it’s the incomplete list of Polish tanks which was used by WG. This was the base for the line which they want to create, so some adjustments might and will happen. According to unofficial info, one line is planned, albeit with some sidebranches at tier 8 for medium and heavy tanks. The list contains tanks which WG had data of, or didn’t, but they knew existed.

War Thunder – Steam Account Ban Wave
The Internet erupted with a potential “Gaijin fucked up again” scenario. For all those who don’t know, some people suddenly woke up with their accounts locked all of a sudden.
The problem – Kinguin. Yes, we all know those key markets. Sometimes you get the deal of a century, buying a game for a fraction of the official price, but this comes with a risk. There is absolutely no way of verifying if the key wasn’t procured in a fraudulent or outright criminal way. And this is exactly what happened here.
Some, let’s say ‘alternative businessmen’ bought Steam packs for War Thunder using a fraudulent method, most likely stolen credit card data, and then they fenced (let’s not jump around the bush here) the keys to Kinguin. Everything would’ve been fine and dandy if not for the fact that Steam got the cards reported, and the keys were revoked. Why did Gaijin ban the accounts?
Quoting Scarper, head community manager.
“We have to ban because the accounts of the players go into the red, we cant control that, we cannot differentiate between mr daft purchaser and mr crook purchaser. It really isnt easy to resolve. We offer unbans (not actually legally obliged to do so). But we are the bad guys. Yes we have to make money, but it doesnt mean we are greedy.”
And this is the offical post by gromvoiny on the WT forum.
“Recently there was a wave of fraudulent purchases of War Thunder DLC in Steam, and the keys obtained through such illegal means were later resold on third-party websites.
Based on report from Valve, we deactivated all such keys which weren’t used yet, and revoked all items which were already activated. The offending accounts were frozen and have to contact support following this guide https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us/articles/200071051-Your-Account-Was-Frozen-8111000E-
Please wait for support reply and don’t create several requests – you’re only slowing down the process this way.
A reminder – purchasing game content anywhere outside official channels (Gaijin Store / Steam / Humble Bundle / Gameflier / PS Store) is againt EULA and may lead to account ban. Be more careful and don’t be fooled by fraudsters.”
According to the posts on reddit and the forum, you can get your account unbanned if you offer a solution yourself.
This really isn’t something unheard of, by the way. Yay back in the past, the Polish auction site Allegro was flooded with cheap premium items for WoT. The situation was identical – people buy the goods en masse, but suddenly HURR DURR ACCOUNT BANNED. Only way to get it back – pay up. Reason – same as here.

WoT PC: A charity auction with two rare vehicles! (Return of the Defender and the SU-76I)
Source: WoT EU portal
Commanders,
This Sunday on 14 January you’ll have the chance to take part in the 26th Grand Final of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, one of the biggest charity events in Poland. Just like the previous years, we decided to join the cause, and today we’re asking you to support us.
Of course, you won’t leave empty-handed – there will be two auctions running, each of them with a rare vehicle and a couple of extras for the winner.
The entire profit from both auctions goes to charity.
First Auction
In the first auction, you can grab the super-popular Object 252U, a Soviet Tier VIII Premium heavy tank. Aside from that, the winner of this auction will receive a Panther brick construction set from COBI and a puzzle set!

Recently we blocked user accounts who turned out to be using fraudulent Steam DLC keys (originally purchased using stolen credit cards). These purchases entailed financial loss for our company as once the fraudulent transaction is discovered and reported, we and Steam not only have to refund the full price of the DLC to the rightful owner of the credit card, but also we are liable for chargeback fee. All gaming companies do not treat such fraud lightly and will act accordingly.
Fraudulent purchases like this can be made directly through Steam and also through private means such as third-party websites. In the latter case the scammers purchase the keys from Steam using stolen cards and then resell them at significantly lower prices elsewhere. Users who purchase these keys from the scammers are actually harming developers instead of supporting them and encouraging the fraudsters, as described above. Whilst players have content on their accounts that has been acquired through illegitimate means (fraud) they are susceptible to an account ban. This is what happened.
However, we do give the benefit of the doubt that most players may be unaware and ill-informed and do not understand the harm that they inflict. Some of these users may have actually made legal purchases in the past. So, although obtaining fraudulent content is a serious breach of the EULA and Terms of Use, on this occasion only (we will not do it again) we will settle on revoking the fraudulent purchase and instigate a ban for two weeks (from January 12th) instead of permanently. Please be more careful in future and don’t become the victims of scammers.
Please note that this applies only to accounts that will not show a negative Golden Eagles balance as a result of revoked purchases. Otherwise you will need to cover the difference before having your access to the game restored by making a request by making a request to our customer support.
Thank you. o7
