Update 1.12.1: “Asian Delights” Camouflage Pictures

This is what the new “Asian Delights” camouflage patterns added to the 1.12.1 patch files look like. Camo treated as non-historical, valued at 50 gold. Available for vehicles of all nationalities and tiers.

  • Contains images of traditional oriental dishes that deform the silhouette of the vehicle and remind you that war can be put off until later, but never dinner.

The 60th Anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s Legendary Flight: Let’s Celebrate Together!

A significant date is coming. On April 12, the world will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first-ever manned spaceflight.

This event paved the way for humans to explore space. Yuri Gagarin became famous the world over and visited more than 20 countries. Several towns and streets have been named in his honor.

We will get into the details of Yuri Gagarin’s spaceflight preparation in our historical material, but for now let’s celebrate together!

To celebrate this remarkable date, we have prepared a special game event for you called “To the Stars!”. The missions you will find will not be difficult, but we ask for your full attention to get immersed into the atmosphere of the event. Make sure to claim your rewards on the dedicated website. You’ll find more info below.

The event will start on April 7 and will consist of two simultaneous activities.

Personal Progress

The first one is Personal Progress that will last from April 7 through April 19 and will consist of 5 Levels. During Personal Progress:

  1. You will earn Star Points, a special event currency, by completing special daily missions.
  2. Star Points will allow you to unlock Star Levels. These Levels will be unlocked sequentially from the first to the fifth and are not bound to any specific date. Completing daily missions on a regular basis directly affects their unlocking.

Unlocking each Level will bring you valuable in-game items: 1 day of WoT Premium Account, Crew Books, a new 2D style, and much more. The main reward for reaching the last Star Level of Personal Progress is Yuri Gagarin as a tank commander.

After completion of all daily missions, you will receive more than enough Star Points to unlock all Star Levels and get your hands on the main reward. Should the number of Star Points you have gathered not be enough to get the rewards you want, you will be able to purchase them in special bundles in the Premium Shop.

April is here and with it comes a new set of exciting tournaments filled with great rewards! In addition to the ones that you might know from last month, we’ve expanded the roster with new 7v7 tournaments for an even broader range of options! Now there really is something for everyone.

Keep it low-tier or test your skills against the best commanders at the highest level. Go at it alone or team up and take the crown as a Platoon. There are new tournaments waiting every day of the week. Check the schedule and sign up!

Top of the Tree: XM551 Sheridan

Use the latest Top of the Tree special and get to know a Tech Tree branch of true boy scouts. The American light tanks are well known for their mobility, good view ranges, and decent rates of fire. They are a great choice for aggressive reconnaissance work and supportive gameplay.

The top of the line is occupied by an eagle scout named after a famous cavalry officer, Philip Sheridan, who fought during the American Civil War. The X XM551 Sheridan was designed to cross rivers, be parachuted out of airplanes, and was even capable of firing anti-tank missiles with its unique 152 mm Gun-Launcher.

Just like its predecessors in this line, the Sheridan is fairly large for a light tank, but can rely on its outstanding view range. Use its mobility to anticipate enemy movements, stop their advances, and support teammates in need. The option to choose between two different gun types, a 105 mm Lightweight Gun and the aforementioned 152 mm boomstick, means you can adjust this light tank to your preferred playstyle. Whether you scout the fields with the best DPM of all Tier X light tanks, or use HEAT shells with 152 mm penetration to support your medium tanks with 700 alpha damage, you will always be prepared for a fight—scouts honor!
