The tanks in the Soviet Tech Tree line offer a great balance of armor, maneuverability, and firepower, but the best of them all is right at Tier X. Barge onto the scene with the IS-4! An excellent all-around tank, this steely Soviet doesn’t boast any extraordinary stats, but it has no noteworthy weaknesses, either. Played well, it can adapt to various roles on the battlefield, while its 122 mm gun, large 2,500 HP pool, and strong turret and side armor make it a tough opponent to face and take down. The well-angled and low profile will keep you out of mischief, and its top speed of 43 km/h, which is unusual for a heavy, lets you flee the scene at a surprising pace. Clamber aboard today!

Update 1.14.1: Year Hare Affair

In Update 1.14.1, content has been added referring to the Chinese comic book series “Year Hare Affair”. This is how the unique crew members, style set, camouflages and stickers look like.

It is possible that the content is dedicated only to the Chinese server.

Year Hare Affair is a Chinese web and media comic book series by Lin Chao, initially under the pseudonym “逆光 飞行”. The comic uses anthropomorphic animals as an allegory of nations and sovereign states to depict the political, military and diplomatic events of the 20th century. – Wikipedia

Frontline 2021: Schedule

Our colleagues from wotclue have released the date of the October and November episodes of Frontline:

-Frontline 2021 Episode 3 starts on October 18 at 6:00 AM and runs for one week until October 25 at 3:00 AM;

–Episode 4 of Frontline 2021 will begin on November 15 at 6:00 AM and will run for one week, until November 22 at 3:00 AM.

World of Tanks on Steam – Achievements Unlocked

We are excited to bring you a long-awaited feature that we’ve been working on hard for the last couple of months –

Steam Achievements

. A total of 59 nice and shiny achievements are already in the game for the taking, so get ready for the hunt!

In this article we will tell you all that you want to know about the newly added achievements – mechanics, details and answers to all your possible questions – as well as provide a general overview. Let’s dive into it!

General Information
If you are new to Steam or, by any chance, not familiar with the Achievements concept, let us briefly explain. Achievements are optional unlockable features with different conditions related to your game progress, playstyle, certain milestones in the game etc. They are unlocked by meeting these conditions in the game or by interacting with the game in particular ways. When you get an achievement, you will receive a special Steam pop-up telling you what achievement you’ve just unlocked.

You can later display that achievement in your Steam profile to show how good you are in World of Tanks or just to brag to your Steam friends who haven’t managed to get it yet. And, of course, do not forget about that heavenly feeling when you have 100% of the achievements unlocked!

World of Tanks now has 59 available achievements. The achievements are closely tied to in-game progress, so you can get them all by actively playing the game, progressing through the tech trees and improving your battle skills. And don’t worry – we aren’t going to ask you to destroy a Maus 1000 times when playing as the MS-1 or to eliminate 16 enemy tanks in a single random battle. The achievements have been carefully designed to be possible and realistic for all players. Some of them may be harder to get than others, but don’t expect any impossible achievements with insane conditions.

World of Tanks Plus – Chinese Server

A new type of subscription is being tested on the Chinese server – World of Tanks Plus. What are the benefits?

-World of Tanks Plus is a type of subscription that only works on the Chinese server;
-The subscription is paid on a monthly basis by linking a credit card or other service to the Wargaming account;
-Active subscription allows you to earn up to 500 gold per week (2,000 per month) in Random battles and other battles;
-You can get up to 3% cashback in gold form for purchases in the Premium Shop;
-Active subscription allows you to rent one of the three tanks available on the list for free (the list is updated every month). The vehicles also include the all-new Chinese Tier VIII heavy tank, the WZ-113-II (the selected vehicle can be played for a whole month);
-World of Tanks Plus subscribers will receive a special badge that will be visible on the player’s account as long as the subscription is paid;

-Crew experience bonus;
-Possibility to obtain additional directives;
etc.

The price of WoT Plus is around 6€ per month.

This service can be considered the Chinese equivalent of Prime Gaming.

WoT: Windows 11 – Initial Information

In preparation for the release of the Windows 11 operating system, we carried out initial compatibility tests that did not show serious problems when playing World of Tanks. However, we continue to comprehensively test this operating system. If you encounter technical issues with World of Tanks when using Windows 11, please contact our Support Team to help us fix it. At this point, we are focused on collecting data about these issues so that we can better help our players in the near future. We look forward to your reports!
