WoT Supertest: NK-1 In-Game Screenshots & Historical Reference

NK-1 (HT-9, premium)
Historical Reference:
A project for a heavy tank that arose at the cusp of the 1950s and 1960s—a period of rapid growth in tank research, active development of new models, and attempts to improve existing vehicles.

This vehicle combined elements of the IS-7 and Object 277 heavy tanks. However, as the approach to tank development shifted—where role became more decisive than combat weight—the development of heavy tanks was discontinued.

  1. Recreating accurate visual models for obscure mid-century armor blueprints while balancing their competitive performance parameters is far from playing Easy Games, but the NK-1 looks incredible in these supertest screenshots! The historical context behind this Soviet project makes it an exciting addition for history buffs and players alike.

  2. Nice historical overview of the NK-1 concept, especially how it reflects the shift in tank design philosophy away from heavy vehicles toward more role-focused development. It’s interesting to see how it combined ideas from tanks like the IS-7 and Object 277 before the concept was eventually dropped. On a different note, if you enjoy tank-related games and also like lighter adventure experiences, I recently came across Super Bear Adventure for PC through a recommendation and found it a fun and relaxing option.
