Only the Conqueror will receive the British normalization pen, other low mid tier British BBs will receive the DFAA consumable for the short range AA. It will work for both 419 mm and 457 mm guns.

WoWS Q&A – 30th July 2017
Source:https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/common/life-universe-everything/
Q: Will we see an improved economy for “Air Superiority/Air Supremacy” carriers?
A: “Air Superiority” activities are currently economically balanced with “Strike” activities — the issue is more that American carriers have overly specialized loadouts which include AS, but we’re developing a solution.
Q: Have you considered doing battlecruiser sub-branches from the British and German battleship lines? When can we go from a Clan cap of 30 to a cap of 60, 90, or even 100 — like it is in World of Tanks?
A: We’ll introduce sub-branches (possibly with battlecruisers) in future updates, but right now we’re focused on whole new lines. We do have some sub-branches planned for 2018, so stay tuned!

Just a reminder for those who will be in Cologne on 25 August, you can sign up for the WG party at the event here:
Veider is back
A year ago, Murazor joined Wargaming as head of balancing department. This position was earlier occupied by Stanislav “Veider” Kargin. And now Veider returns. This was confirmed last weekend. However, not to WoT, but this time to WoWS. He will be working at Lesta as part of a team focusing on various game modes – PvE and others.
WoWS Staff on Smoke Changes
„After discussing and reviewing the Supertest participants’ feedback, we decided to continue the internal testing of the smoke visibility mechanics changes, which means the smoke visibility mechanics will remain the same in 0.6.9. Please note that we could be considering other options for this particular change. We know this affects one of the oldest in-game mechanics and we understand our players’ concerns. However, we would like to remind you guys that the purpose of Supertest is to identify the most controversial parts of the changes and to offer us a different perspective by allowing us to take a step back and observe how they interact within the game. Keep in mind that not all of the tested items/mechanics necessarily need reach the public test stage, they can be sent for revision or become completely revised.
Cheers,
Kandly – WoWS Community Coordinator”
WoWS: New Torpedo Effects Visualised
WoWS: TAP Insider News (25-VII-2017)
I will just share you some chitchat of WG staffs about the new smoke mechanic. With the new stupid mechanic, it’s like a death sentence for us to keep playing on this game.
Following the new smoke machanic, German smoke will also enjoy its duration buff to the same level as Japanese/Russian counterparts. However, to balance the buff, their sonar duration will be slightly reduced in order to avoid the smoke-sonar-camping playstyle, they have less time activating than their Kamerad Cruisers/Battleships.
All the ships equipped with smoke devices will also be considered receiving longer smoke-deploying time (no mention about British , I think they will be included though, with less range than other classes.)
Keep in mind that everything in ST can be changed the very last minutes before hitting PT/Live server, don’t expect too much so you may get disappointed.
