Battle Pass is back, Commanders!

Starting from March 2, World of Tanks will host Season VII of Battle Pass. It will run for almost three months, until May 30, and will feature several important changes. Make sure you’ve read up on all the details and nice rewards available during the upcoming Season, including fresh progressive styles, the new Bounty Turbocharger, two brand-new Tier IX tanks in the updated Items for Tokens section of the in-game Store, and much more!

Battle Pass Season VII Summary

  • Battle Pass Season VII kicks off on March 2 and runs until May 30. This is the opening Season of 2022 and the first of the current year in which you can earn Battle Pass Tokens, a special in-game currency.
  • Season VII will consist of three main Chapters you can complete in any order, each comprising 50 Stages. To start completing Stages and earning rewards, select a Chapter. You can also pause the completion of a Chapter and switch to a different one to get your hands on more attractive rewards.

WoT RU – Game chats disabled

Due to the military operation in Ukraine, game chats were disabled in World of Tanks on the Russian cluster.

Yesterday, from ~16:05 (MSK), the ability to write on the game chat during battles and in private messages has disappeared, and the General Chat has been completely disabled.

This was done in order to remove insults, hatred, enmity, and hard trolling in chats. All this can be seen in the game chats in large numbers since the aggravation of the conflict in Donbass.

The measure is temporary, but how long it will last is unknown. Made technically in the form of issuing an endless chat ban on each account.

“General and combat chats on all servers, as well as personal channels are temporarily unavailable. We will inform you about the resumption of these services later.

We apologize for the inconvenience.”

Remember that WoT was the most popular game in Ukraine in 2021.

WoWS: Methods of distribution of new ships

Update 1.16: Launch Date

The introduction of the new update in all regions is scheduled for:

ASIA: February 28;
NA: March 1;
EU: March 2; (morning)
RU: March 2;

For this reason, two new mod folders will be created: ./mods/1.16.0/ and ./res_mods/1.16.0/.

The update brings the new Battle Pass.

Recap of Global Map: Confrontation

The intense two-week-long Confrontation event on the Global Map has ended. It was tough and hard-fought, but it was all worth it for the deserved victors! They asserted themselves over the opposing clans to take control of the Global Map and have plenty of glorious rewards to show for their determination. Get ready for the next Season on the Global Map, starting in March, by checking out who confronted the challenge head on to come out on the other side celebrating.

Fair Play Policy

We would like to reiterate that we continue to keep a watchful eye on World of Tanks and always monitor the behavior of players. This applies to special game events, like the Global Map, but also to Random Battles and every other available game mode. Violations of our Terms of Service and the End-User License Agreement are not tolerated, and we actively work against cheaters who use harmful and unwelcome software.

Following the latest Season on the Global Map, and in accordance with our Fair Play Policy, we will penalize 56 accounts. 37 of these accounts will receive their first warning, and 19 will be banned permanently. Our message is clear: Cheating is unacceptable!

Using prohibited modifications or violating the game or event rules in any way leads to exclusion from the Alley of Fame, thereby preventing violators from receiving rewards.

We apply global ban waves to keep the gaming environment as fair as possible.

Let’s take the game seriously and play fair!
