Changes to the Object 430 and Object 430U Canceled

From RU Portal

„Tankers!

The first iteration of the supertest rebalance of medium tanks has come to an end, and we have news for you. We studied the statistics and reviews and came to the conclusion that the previously mentioned edits of all machines did not show the proper result and require further study in the next iteration of the supertest. Therefore, we will continue to test AMX 30B, Leopard 1 and STB-1 changes. We will add detailed characteristics for the next iteration later.

According to the test results the performance characteristics of the “Object 430” and “Object 430U” will remain the same as on the primary server. Edits are canceled.”

World of Warships Legends launched…

…10 days ago. It’s in early access though.

Wargaming is happy to announce that World of Warships: Legends is available in early access on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for free download by players.

Over 50 ships reconstructed with attention to historical details. Destroyers, cruisers and battleships are waiting for your orders. Navigate over 15 maps and enjoy beautiful lighting effects in HDR. Over 20 legendary commanders will help your units develop their full potential.

World of Warships: Legends is not a simple port from the PC version. The title has been prepared from scratch for the current generation of consoles and uses their power and unique capabilities.

Battles are faster and more dynamic, the commander plays a greater role and his development, the interface and controls have been modified. Players can expect regular game updates in the future, with new nations and ships, new maps or full 4K support on PlayStation®4 Pro and Xbox One X this summer.

“We are pleased to introduce World of Warships: Legends to veterans and new players on consoles,” said Kirill Peskov, director of development at Wargaming St. Petersburg. “This is our second title, our title on consoles and its quality is a confirmation of the talent and passion of the creators. We hope players will travel with us on this journey!”

World of Warships: Legends is available in Playstation and Microsoft stores.

Fair Play Policy: Updated List of Prohibited Mods

Source: EU Portal

We’re constantly studying your feedback in order to keep abreast of the most discussed topics within the community — mods. One of your biggest concerns is Fair Play and the use of so-called “cheat mods”. These unauthorized third-party modifications give those who use them an unfair advantage and spoiling your fun in battles.

Over the past three years, we’ve been carefully monitoring the use of unfair World of Tanks modifications and punishing cheaters during massive ban waves. Ensuring Fair Play will always be our top priority, and today we’re ready to take new measures to keep the play dynamics as fair as possible.

Updating the List of Prohibited Software

Thanks to your feedback and continuous monitoring, we’ve identified several new modifications that give those players who use them some advantages over the rest. These are obviously unfair, so we decided to add the following types of mods to the list of prohibited software:

1. Showing the direction of guns on the minimap

[Supertest] Medium Tanks Rebalance: In the Pursuit of Excellence

From EU Portal

Throughout 2019, we will be revising the characteristics of various vehicles in World of Tanks, trying to find an optimal balance. It’s an ongoing process, and we carefully consider your feedback to better understand in which direction we should proceed. Our ultimate goal is to make all vehicles competitive on the battlefield, while maintaining the unique features of each tank.

At WG Fest last December, we announced an upcoming rebalance of five iconic vehicles. One of them, the Kranvagn, will receive its portion of consistent improvements soon with Update 1.5. Now it’s time to pay attention to some medium tanks and adjust their key battle parameters. Let’s take a closer look!

The STB-1 and Its Branch

The STB-1 is a versatile, fast-accelerating vehicle with a well-sloped turret and good gun depression angles. This vehicle is ideal for mid-to-close combat, and it’s designed to constantly deal damage. The STB-1 commonly plays the role of an active aggressor on the front line, or of an effective support vehicle – the latter is how this vehicle was initially conceived. Its DPM is very impressive and is one of the best in World of Tanks, while its gun stabilization leaves much to be desired. So it’s time to make it more competitive and add some new touches to its profile!

post1.pngFinally, we are looking to equip the STB-1 with a commonly requested game feature: hydropneumatic suspension — just like the one available with the top-tier Swedish medium tanks. We will thoroughly test this feature, and if we are satisfied with the test results, we will definitely equip this vehicle with it.

In addition, we’re going to rebalance the performance of some other vehicles in the Japanese Tech Tree, especially those sitting at Tier VIII, the STA-1 and the STA-2. The DPM of the STA-1 will increase, making it more competitive.

We also carefully analyzed your feedback regarding the STA-2 and its gameplay and realized this mobile tank could be even more effective, so we will also slightly improve some of its key characteristics. We will unveil the detailed changes of this Premium machine a bit later, after finalizing the settings of other vehicles.

The Leopard 1
