Supertest: CS-53 & CS-59

Let’s start with the Tier VIII medium CS-53. In the top-end configuration, this Pole is armed with a 100mm gun dealing the alpha damage of 300 points. Reloading in 8.6 s, it takes 212 mm off of the enemy armor with a standard AP round, while a special HEAT round goes deeper up to 290 mm. Turning to other characteristics, the dispersion is 0.38 at 100 m, the aiming time is 2.5 s, and the view range is 380 m.

So, the Pole can deliver damage. What about enduring damage? With 1300 hit points, its turret has 190 mm of armor in its front area and the upper glacis plate is 90mm thick. With the thrust-weight ratio of 17.8 hp/t., the medium develops the top speed of 50 km/h.

All in all, the CS-53 is akin to the previously announced CS-52, being a classic medium jack of all trades. Its dynamics and firepower enable it to tackle diverse tasks from flank maneuvering as part of the flock of mediums to support of heavies in defense.

WoT Anniversary Act III. Tame the Crouching Sturmtiger!

Source: Portal

We’re continuing the 10th Anniversary celebration of World of Tanks by launching Act III: Rubicon on June 17. You’ll have the opportunity to try out the iconic Sturmpanzer VI Sturmtiger, a true legend of our game. This formidable SPG with unbelievable agility and devastating firepower got stuck in the past on one of the old maps. But for the game’s 10th Anniversary, we’ve freed it from a time loop and reintroduced it to the game, at least for one week of the Active Phase.

Crouching Tiger

June 17 at 05:00 (UTC) through June 24 at 05:00 (UTC)

Prime Times (EU1, EU2): 17:00 UTC — 21:00 UTC

The Ultimate Predator From Your Tank Nightmares

The Sturmpanzer VI Sturmtiger was a real-life SPG produced in limited numbers. This fearsome, heavily armored vehicle could deal monstrous damage, but it was extremely slow, clumsy, and impractical in battle.

In 2014-2015, we spent a long time thinking about how to organically integrate the Sturmtiger into the World of Tanks ecosystem. But due to its contradictory features and very special characteristics, we couldn’t find a suitable place for it in any of the existing branches.

Very quickly, this goliath became a real tank meme, a kind of “urban legend” in the game. It scared novices who saw it in their nightmares. Yet at the same time, the Sturmtiger served as a prototype for some of the assault tank destroyers that later appeared in the game. They inherited their low speed, solid HP pool, and devastating firepower from this unreleased beast.

Ed Francis Almost Commited Suicide

Ed Francis is a former WG EU Community Contributor and a top historian when it comes to digging up info from the British archives. Recently, he was fired from the museum where he worked at, which was basically his life. All because a certain person many of you know decided to „spill the beans”. Normally I wouldn’t post stuff like this due to mistakes in the past, articles that caused me to lose precious friends, authors, readers, and pieces of my sanity (brace yourselves, huge s***storm incoming) but I ask you, what is the purpose of a news blog? To post news when they happen, no matter what. If I am to be hated for it, then so be it. I’ve asked people before posting this, thought this 3 times over, and everyone gave me the green light this time. I still feel like I’m going to regret it. Let’s begin.

We have received a mail from a TAP reader, describing everything in great detail:

„Hello,

Long story short, you must have heard of this guy called Ed Francis, he was a good friend of Rita, this was until they had a fallout!!!! He tried to commit suicide a few days ago, and the reason is that Rita sends a private message screenshot to the Tank Museum, where he used to work and also do contract work for Wargaming, saying that he wouldn’t mind seeing another guy who works at the museum knifed in the street. This conversation between her and him was back in 2016 or so, he was under heavy medication because of depression and didn’t really know what he was saying.

No matter, she decides to share this information with the museum out of nowhere, he got fired and was banned for life from the grounds. He tried to kill himself because of that! Can you imagine? Rita’s actions almost killed a person!

So, I started doing some digging, contacting some people and turns out the reason she did it, was because she was afraid that Ed would reveal her dirty little secrets, how she is a compulsive liar and cheated on Jingles and her “new” boyfriend.

It seems that Ed caught her cheating in a “recent” trip to Belgium she did with him, with a soldier from the barracks, but I got solid proof that she cheated on Jingles before and during the time they were engaged!
