Top of the Tree: WZ-113G FT

Source: EU Portal

For the first time ever, this Top of the Tree special puts you on the path of versatile tank destroyers from China all the way to the X WZ-113G FT . The branch leads from silent snipers to mid-range supports to tough brawlers at the top.

The journey to top-tier Chinese tank destroyers starts off small with three sneaky vehicles that boast a great view range and fairly accurate guns. All of them can rely on high DPM to take out enemies fast and efficiently.

The mid-tier vehicles are the natural progression from sniper to brawler and function perfectly as second-line supporters. Good mobility lets them quickly take key positions, while high DPM will be the final nail in the coffin for damaged opponents.

Make your way to the top and unlock vehicles that leave the support role in the dust on their way to the front line. They trade accuracy for thick armor and powerful guns while keeping good DPM. The crown jewel of the collection, the X WZ-113G FT , boasts an impressive 750 alpha damage, decent penetration, and a tough upper-front plate.

Experience this versatile Tech Tree branch from February 5 at 06:00 CET through March 5 at 06:00 CET (UTC+1) and take advantage of great discounts and missions all the way to the top. Don’t forget that you can also purchase an extra boost if you want to speed things up!

Special Features of the Test

The rewards for activities on the Public Test Server may differ from those on the Live Server. The new Italian battleships will not be available on the Public Test server.

In Update 0.10.1, we updated Brawls and made them a separate battle type, the seasons of which will be short and have a smaller team format. One can take part either in a Division or solo. It is possible to participate in Brawls without being in a Clan.

During the Public Test, two seasons of Brawls will be fought in the following format:

  • Round 1: 3 vs. 3, playing Tier X ships. Restrictions: a maximum of one aircraft carrier, battleship, two cruisers and destroyers per team
  • Round 2: 1 vs. 1, playing Tier X ships of all types

On the Public Test server, Ranked Battles will involve teams of Tier VIII–X ships (depending on the League) facing off against one another in a 7 vs. 7 format.

Supertest: Sommar Map 2nd Iteration

Here are the changes to the map Sommar, let us know what you think!

General description:

  • Map size: 1,000х1,000 m
  • Mode: Standard Battle
  • Setting: summer

Minimap:

Gameplay:

  1. A town with narrow streets suitable for slow, well-armoured vehicles.
  2. Hills with scarce vegetation and lack of cover for manoeuvrable vehicles and for playing from the distance. The team that controls this area gets access to hill 3.
  3. A hill with vegetation and cover with good lines of fire at area 1.
  4. A bog with dense, high grass. An additional line that allows for sneaking to the enemy’s rear.

The following changes were made after the supertest:

  • Field 2 was completely reworked.
  • Hill 3 was improved significantly to make the gameplay less chaotic.
  • In Town 1, the crossroads were widened, a safe passage to zone 3 was added, a line of fire under the bridge in zone 4 was added. The exits from the town towards the bases became a bit safer.
  • Minor fixes in different spots.
