WoT Top of the Tree: Bat.-Châtillon 25 t

Use the latest Top of the Tree special and explore a Tech Tree branch that leads to the crown jewel among French vehicles. While the line consists predominantly of fast light tanks with typical French autoloaders, it culminates in two versatile and very dangerous medium scouts.

The X Bat.-Châtillon 25 t at Tier X is certainly the highlight of this branch. It might seem small and humble, but this medium tank with a powerful autoloader can cause big trouble on the battlefield. Each of the 5 shells per clip can deal 390 points of damage and penetrate an average of 259 mm of steel. This potential burst damage is high enough to make short work of any opponent that gets ambushed by a sneaky assault. And catching an enemy off-guard is surprisingly easy thanks to a combination of a small silhouette, good camouflage values, high acceleration, decent maneuverability, and a top speed of 65 km/h. It is the perfect tank to isolate and take out unsuspecting opponents.

However, keep in mind that a lack of armor means even tiny mistakes can cost valuable HP. It’s better not to rush in, but to carefully scout the battlefield. Wait for your heavy tanks to distract the opponents before swooping in to unload the finishing blow. The Bat.-Châtillon 25 t is also an excellent scout interceptor and artillery hunter, so keep an eye out for enemy light tanks or swiftly relieve the other team of their biggest guns.

Make your way up the Tech Tree branch from April 20 at 07:00 CEST through May 20 at 07:00 CEST (UTC+2) and take advantage of great discounts and missions all the way to the top. Don’t forget that you can also purchase an extra boost if you want to speed things up!
