Do you feel sorry for the Premium vehicles parked in your garage? Well, don’t! From 7 June at 07:00 CEST to 17 June at 07:00 CEST (UTC+2), they have a new purpose. Dust them off and exchange these vehicles for new and shiny ones, at a discounted price.

As always, find all the details from the exchange process below. Also, please note that these vehicles have been added to the tradable machines list:

Trade-in example:

You want to buy the Löwe, which costs 12,500 gold in the game. In exchange, you want to trade in your old Dicker Max, which normally costs 3,200.

Just like selling standard vehicles gives you half of their value in credits, trading in your old Premium tank will produce half of its value in gold, which in turn will be deducted from the price of the tank you are wanting to buy.

In this example, trading in your Dicker Max will yield you half of its price, which is 1,600. Consequently, your new vehicle’s price will be reduced accordingly and you now need 10,900 for the Löwe.

How to trade in tanks

Vehicles eligible for purchase with a trade-in option will be displayed both in the Tech Tree and in the tank purchase menu. Depending on how much gold is available on your account, the tank available for the exchange may be displayed in two different ways:

The tank can be exchanged. There is enough gold.The tank can be exchanged. There is not enough gold.

Once you have decided, simply right-click on the vehicle and choose Purchase or Trade-in.

 

Important to Remember

  • The Trade-in feature will be available from 7 June at 07:00 CEST to 17 June at 07:00 CEST (UTC+2)
  • You can trade in only vehicles that are of lower or equal Tier to the vehicle you are purchasing, but not below Tier VI.
  • You can trade in only one vehicle per transaction.
  • The gold value of vehicles may be affected by active discounts on Premium tanks.
  • Ammunition, Equipment, and Consumables loaded on the vehicle that is being traded in will be automatically dismounted and placed in the Depot for free.
  • Camouflages, Emblems, and Inscriptions applied on the vehicle that is being traded in will be stored in the Depot.
  • The crew present in the vehicle that is being traded in will be automatically passed to the Barracks. If there are not enough free bunks in the Barracks to accommodate them, the trade-in will not be possible.
  • Tanks used for trade-in cannot be restored with the Restore functionality.
  • When trading in, you don’t have to buy an extra Garage Slot – the new tank will be placed in the slot previously occupied by the vehicle that was traded in.

        1. Obj 416 is pretty much a tank destroyer with insane dpm. STG is… I don\’t know what. Can\’t snipe because accuracy is not great, can\’t brawl because gun handling is bad and dpm is very low, no armor, speed is underwhelming. It\’s pretty bad and boring.

          2. STG is a good sniper Tank can if required be used as a TD its accuracy is easily good enough, although the dpm is low even compared to other T8 MT\’s

            I have a good fun time with my STG nice crew trainer fairly mobile fantastic Gun (imo) that 390 alpha is really good.
            and its Turret is quite bouncy if your hull down

            only bad things are

            Low dpm from its 122 Gun lets it down slightly
            average mobility
            useless at T10 (like all T8 MT\’s
            6 degrees of gun depression, not good

            other than that its In my top 3 Tier 8\’s

    1. You can only trade in a single vehicle, also, Löwe, M4 49, Chinese WZ tank destroyer are decent pickups, with Superpershing and T-54 prototype being pretty good too

  4. Thankfully WG added sooooo much new vehicles to the tech tree, that i dont know for what i should/can trade my T26E4.. Because every new tank has to be a shop-only-ultimative-superlative offer. ggwp.

  5. Don\’t play into their hands (pockets)!

    Trade-in of any kind, especially with reduction in value, only logical if any wear and tear of the item is present. You old premiums are not worn, broken or damaged, being digital goods. Tanks are only made \”bad\” or \”weak\” by the hands of Wargaming, intentionally.

    Old premiums they so gladly accept into trade-in can easily become powerful and even over-powered, by simple tweaking of parameters by the company.

    Only a complete fool will fall for this no-brain scheme, willingly being cheated out of his money for \”new\” and \”strong\” premiums, that in time will also be left behind in the endless artificial arms race.

    Old tank is worthless because the game around it became OP? Demand adjustment of parameters, WG can make any tank better by simple tweaking. Don\’t be a shit-for-brains consumer, think before you trade.

    1. I just checked it, it CAN be bought/traded for. It wasnt mentioned in the list above, but I guess that is just WG`s usual diligence and attention to detail.
