We are pleased to present to you the Developer Bulletin for Update 0.6.11. It covers the details of the upcoming version! With the latest Public Test comes Naval Bases for clans, changes to smoke spotting mechanics, and more! Round one of the Public Test will begin on 07 September at 18:30 CEST (UTC+2) until 11 September at 15:00 CEST (UTC+2)!
Important! Because the version update is still being tested, the information in this Bulletin is tentative and reflects the state of game development at the time of publication. Certain changes and new features may be stripped or implemented in a different way by the time the final version of this update goes live. Screenshots, specific values of certain characteristics, and details of in-game mechanics will not necessarily be relevant after the update is released.
Naval Bases:
In Update 0.6.11, all clans will have their own Naval Base! To go to your Naval Base, select the Clans tab, and then the “My Clan” section. Develop your base to provide all clan members with bonuses—for example, discounts on servicing or purchasing researched ships of a certain nation. How is a Naval Base developed, and what bonuses will be provided? You can get the answers in this Bulletin!
WoWS 0.6.11: Contents and changes #1

-Regular torpedoes on Pan asia DDs have been removed, only deep water torpedoes are available to them now
-DW torpedo damage brought in line with their regular counterparts
Balance

Changes to gun pitch:
Gun pitch on several battleships (namely early dreadnoughts) are increased by the system in order to make arc shots at close range targets, this made some ships exceed their historical elevation limits, to fix this, a pitch limit has been applied to such ships. Regular gameplay will not be affected by this change, but minor side effects may appear on Arkansas , Wyoming , Ishizuchi, Konig Albert and Kaiser.
Clan naval base:
-Naval base development provides more bonuses:

Good day, everyone!
We’re sending in-game test invitations to all Graf Zeppelin owners. The invitation will pop up as soon as you log in and enter the port. You need to accept it if you want to be included in all future Graf Zeppelin tests.
If you missed (closed) the invitation, we will send you one more a bit later – just in case you did it accidentally. If you don’t want to participate in the test, please open and specifically decline the invite: we won’t bother you anymore.
Thanks, and see you soon!
The first round of testing should happen even before 6.11 arrives.

Wargaming bought the developer of Hitman, which is Hapti.Co Studio in Copenhagen (Denmark).
Wargaming also opens up a new mobile division in Copenhagen (Hapti.Co got renamed). Recall that the last year such stuff happened in Berlin, Prague and Helsinki. Seems WG decided to buy and use all available weapons in order to dominate the mobile games market.
Press release:
Wargaming Mobile is excited to announce the latest step in its continued European expansion with the newly-acquired Hapti.co studio, rebranded as Wargaming Copenhagen. This studio will focus on the development of new mobile titles for the mobile market.
A former subsidiary of IO Interactive in Copenhagen, Hapti.co leverages the experience of established industry veterans to create engaging mobile games. Along with their new game projects as Wargaming Copenhagen, the team will continue to operate their back catalog of live mobile games.
Hapti.co Studio Head Rune Vendler has an extensive career in video games, having worked for companies like IO Interactive and Lionhead Studios, and has been a part of huge titles such as Gameglobe, Kane & Lynch, and Fable.
“The guys at Hapti.co were a perfect match for Wargaming’s mobile endeavors,” said Keith Kawahata, Head of Wargaming Mobile. “They have the expertise from working in the industry for years, a solid games portfolio that have cemented them in the market, and the ambition and drive to go from strength to strength as Wargaming Copenhagen.”
“Joining Wargaming offers us new opportunities and ways to grow,” said Hapti.co Studio Head Rune Vendler. “We’re really looking forward to getting started on new projects, and leveraging the skill and expertise of an industry giant like Wargaming to bring even more fantastic titles to our players.”
