Supertest: Hotchkiss EBR

Greetings Tankers,

Rolling onto the Supertest today is the French tier VII wheeled armoured car, the Hotchkiss EBR. We’re going to assess the statistical balance and continue battle-testing the new game mechanics. When we’re through, we’ll decide on the release set of game mechanics and the finalization of the entire wheeled vehicle mini-branch.

The Hotchkiss EBR is a ‘transitional’ vehicle introducing the players to the peculiar gameplay of top-tier wheeled armoured cars. It lacks the two driving modes like them, but it does have the Charge ability and the special lock-on feature. It also has an auto-reloading 75-mm gun. The dynamics and manoeuvrability of the Hotchkiss EBR are lower than those of the tier VIII–X vehicles. Additionally, the absence of the Drive (fast) results in a lesser top speed.

Depending on test results, the stats of the Hotchkiss EBR may change. Follow the news and all the luck in your battles!

:honoring:

Good hunting!

The IS-3A Reborn!

Commanders!

Now that Update 1.3 has been released, you may have noticed that the IS-3A has received a major overhaul. Previously, it’s been widely regarded as “just an IS-3” clone. The ‘A’ in IS-3A stood for ‘autoloader’. However, instead of an autoloader like the French vehicles possess, the IS-3A only had an autoloading mechanism in the sense that it doesn’t need a Loader.

Advent Calendar: Day 12 (Skorpion G for gold)

King among the tank destroyers, this vehicle wears a cool looking scorpion on its turret, but we don’t call it “The Scorpion King”. YET.

But let’s stop there to focus on what matters: the famous Rheinmetall Skorpion G is our Advent Calendar offer of the day. An absolute classic, the Skorpion G boasts a very powerful gun, complimented by a great accuracy, and a decent DPM. And like any arachnid of its kind, this tank moves fast, which allows you to relocate to another position in a flash. Add this predator to your garage now, you only have 24 hours!

Important: The Rheinmetall Skorpion G is part of our Advent Calendar! Therefore, you can purchase it through the bundle or directly in the game for 11,200.

WoWS: New Year Event Info & Steel/Coal Reward Values

TL;DR: Get as many ships as you can before 0.7.12 hits the live server so you can earn more coal/steel when the event comes. The rewards below are not final.

In bold are extra essential pieces of info from the Russian ST Discord.

Steel is a valuable resource that is used to unlock rare ships. At the moment it is awarded only to active participants of Clan and Ranked battles.

After adding steel to the game, we received many requests to make it more obtainable. This is understandable, because not everyone has the opportunity to play in competitive modes effectively and regularly.

To celebrate the New Year we have prepared 4 game events, and by participating in them you will get a lot of great prizes, including some steel.

This doesn’t mean that we are now planning to constantly create events like this, but it’s the New Year and as you know, this is a time for surprises.

So here’s what awaits you:

«In The Name Of His Highness!» event
The new game event «In the Name of His Highness!» is dedicated to the heyday of armored ships of the early 20th century. It will last 4 weeks.
There are 4 stages of the event. Each stage consists of 4 directives. Each Directive contains 10 to 11 tasks. There is a corresponding reward of camouflage, signals, Christmas containers and even steel (each directive will add 500 steel, the total amount of steel you can get from this event is 8000). And continuing our new year’s tradition, the main prize will be a new premium tier VI German battleship – Prinz Eitel Friedrich! (for completing all 4 weeks)
Rules for completing directives are similar to the Royal Navy event. After the completion of all directives, access to the Hall of Fame is unlocked, for which points can be earned in co-op, random, ranked, clan, scenario or special battles.
