Due to the update, the World of Tanks servers and portal will be unavailable on November 12, 2020 from 04:00 – 04:45 UTC. In this micropatch:

-There will be two new mod folders to: /mods/1.10.1.3/ and ./res_mods/1.10.1.3/;
-The “Choice Made!” Emblem has been added. for players who voted during the selection for the Battle of Bloggers 2021 (RU);
-Changed technical characteristics of the Progetto C45 mod. 71;
-Technical characteristics of the GSOR 1008 tank were changed;
-The description of the М24Е2 Super Chaffee tank has been added;
-Some technical issues have been fixed.

Black Market 2021 Leak

This is a rough second version of the list of tanks that would allegedly appear in the upcoming Black Market. The new BM should appear at the turn of February and March next year (may be changed due to COVID-19), so until then both vehicles and especially prices may change – the work is not finished yet.

New Years Lootboxes: Aufklarungspanzer as a premium lootbox tank – leak from an angry WG employee

We have received an email from a TAP reader that claimed to be a WG representative in Minsk (He has proven his identity, and I can confirm he indeed works for Wargaming). In the email the person iterated that Christmas lootboxes will contain a lot of new premium vehicles, especially tier 8 ones. The recently re-introduced Aufklarungspanzer Panther is set to reappear in the game as a lootbox vehicle, while many of the recently announced tanks like the GSOR 1008 and Cobra will be tier 8 premium lootbox tanks. The WG employee has asked not to confirm his identity, but he reaffirmed that the reason of leaking this is due to bad mismanagement at WG Minsk and employees being fed up with the terrible situation at the company.

World of Tanks – the most profitable F2P game on PC in Russia

World of Tanks was the most profitable F2P game on PC in Russia in the first half of 2020, CS: GO – 2nd, Dota 2 – 6th. The leader among paid games is Borderlands 3.

Analytical company Superdata published a study of the video game market in Russia in the first half of 2020.

According to Superdata, the volume of the Russian video game market in the first half of 2020 amounted to more than $ 1.145 billion. The growth was by 21% compared to the first half of 2019. Console games account for 10% of the market and earned roughly $ 112 million in half a year.

F2P (free) PC games earned $ 421 million – 37% of the revenues of the entire gaming industry in Russia, their share is slightly smaller than that of mobile games. The growth of this segment is 7%. The monthly audience of free PC games, according to the study, is 76 million people, an increase of 4.1%.

• On average, one paying Russian player spends slightly more than $ 23 (RUB 1,816) per year on F2P games.
• The most popular are shooters, which account for 59% of the profit of the entire free-to-play title market in Russia.

Interestingly, jigsaw puzzles became the most popular genre (the main representative is Candy Crush Saga) with 41.3 million MU (how many unique users have used the service in the last 30 days), shooters lagged behind by 16 million users. At the same time, shooters are in first place in terms of income – they earned 59% of all segment revenues, income growth – 12.8%.
