🇫🇷AMX 29 Bélier (Tier X, promotional, mechanic: Enhanced Two-Projectile Reserve Loader)
Short name: Bélier
Historical Reference:
In 1963, the AMX company was tasked with developing a compact medium tank with mobility comparable to the BC 25 t and more powerful armament. The vehicle was designated the AMX 29 Bélier (“Ram”).
Its main feature was a 127 mm CN-127-F1 rifled autoloading gun. It would have had a crew of three. Trials confirmed high mobility and considerable firepower; however, they also revealed serious drawbacks: strong gun recoil, limited ammunition capacity, high costs, and the complexity of the autoloader. As a result, the project was discontinued in 1969.
