Meet the Soviet Battle Star!

Just like most Soviet medium tanks, the brand-new Object 274a is a versatile vehicle with a tough bouncy turret and solid hull armor. Its 107 mm gun boasts great penetration and delivers 320 points of alpha damage, which means this medium can even jump into a 1-on-1 duel with a heavy tank and come out on top—so long as you play to its strengths.

The Object 274a can effectively support other attacking medium vehicles. Although it’s best suited for clashes at short and medium ranges, if the situation on the battlefield becomes unfavorable for your team, it can beat a quick retreat and provide cover for its allies. The great DPM and high view range (390 m) help you make your presence known on any map.

This Soviet medium comes with a 100% crew with Brothers in Arms (as a “zero” perk) and a free Garage slot.

Choose How to Reap the Rewards!

The furious hunt for the Object 274a will last 10 days and involve 10 consecutive Stages. To make the Challenge more enjoyable, there are two ways to reap the rewards: missions for commitment and missions for mastery.

Both sets of tasks can be fulfilled simultaneously (given that all conditions are met), so it doesn’t matter how you progress to the next Stage. The mission that is completed first will count towards your progress to the next mission on either path.

  • Missions for commitment: the best choice for commanders with a strong desire to get their hands on the Object 274a. The diverse task conditions must be met using Tier VI–X vehicles. Remember: your result only counts if you are one of the top ten players by experience earned on your team at the end of a battle, no matter whether your team wins or loses.
  • Missions for mastery: alternative, but more challenging, tasks. Fulfilling these objectives saves you time, but you must push yourself to the limit to succeed. You can only complete these tasks using Tier IX–X vehicles.
Each completed Stage grants 10% off the final price of the Object 274a. If all 10 Stages are completed within the Challenge period, you will get the vehicle for free!

Well-deserved Reward Video Analysis

Short summary from colleagues at wotclue:

-“Where is WoT Classic”: possible return of Classic in 2021;
-Tank rebalance (no more details);
-New 3D Styles in the Battle Pass: for heavy, medium and tank destroyers respectively;
-Next year, Steel Hunter returns. 3 stages;

-Three new branches: Poland, Italy and Czechoslovakia.

-Steel Hunter will officially return next year. And judging by the thickness of the books, it’s gonna be a little bigger than this year’s.
-It is known that in the next Battle Pass there will be some TD. I would bet on the AMX 50 Foch B and Badger, as these are the only ones that didn’t had 3D styles yet. For sure, Russians and Americans are out, because there would not be the same nation 3 times, they will rather give some new ones likely.
-New Czech line in 2021 and new Italian line. Probably the new HTs will come out somewhere in the beginning of next year.
-Black Market.
-This Churchill mock-up, maybe it’s some kind of D-Day PvE event, Road to Berlin?

The “Polar Hunt” Winter Marathon for the Object 274a (MT-8, USSR, premium) starts in a few days.. This is the last marathon for 2020. It starts on November 27 (09:00 UTC) and lasts until December 7 (09:00 UTC) – 10 days. You can also buy it in the Premium Shop, with a discount based on how many marathon stages are completed.

The price of the tank in gold has been changed from 100 to 2,900. The cost of repairing the vehicle has also been reduced from 4,224 to 4,161.

PS: Progetto C45 mod 71’s name was changed to Bisonte C45 in this micropatch.

-Some technical issues have been fixed;
-Most likely, the contents of the Well-deserved Reward 2020 and the Winter Challenge have also been added.

ASIA: The World of Tanks servers and the Clan Portal will be unavailable from 05:00 AM to 05:45 AM UTC +8 on November 25 due to the release of update 1.10.1_13.
