The zones that usually see the most fighting have been heavily reworked. The center of the map now features a massive rock formation with a train tunnel, and well-armored vehicles can engage the enemy at multiple elevations and over various distances. The direction farthest from the sea now suits maneuverable vehicles with good camo, and the coastline favors snipers.

WoT 2.2.1: Pearl River Map Changes

The map now features an additional route to the central hill in the southwest, equally accessible to both teams; the cave is now below it. The main heavy tank direction is more balanced in terms of cover and the time required to reach the key positions for both sides. Multiple new positions for light tanks, medium tanks, and tank destroyers have been added across the entire location.

WoT 2.2.1: Klondike Map Changes

The map size has been reduced from 1,400×1,400 m to 1,100×1,100 m. The coastal zone in the south has been reworked, now featuring a seaport with approaches offering many covered positions for heavily armored vehicles. The central area has been expanded, and its terrain now features more folds and vegetation, benefiting light tanks. The northern part of the map is now most suitable for medium tanks.
