A few days ago, an interesting mod called “Camo Selector” was released. This modification allows you to apply any customization element available in the game client to any tank in your Garage. This includes items that are normally unavailable to regular players, as well as various technical customization variants such as those used by bots in special game modes or styles from temporary events (for example, the bright 2D style “Neon Glow” from Arcade mode).
What makes it different from other similar mods?
You can apply ALL types of customization present in the game client: 2D and 3D styles, 3D objects, decals, emblems, inscriptions, paints, camouflage patterns, and visual effects.
Moreover, it allows you to use the unique customization elements of Tier XI vehicles, including:
- Gun shrouds
- Volumetric 2D styles
- Statistics counters
Volumetric 2D styles can be installed on almost any vehicle through the camouflage section.
The Tier XI gun shrouds are particularly interesting. Since they are not tied to specific vehicles, you can technically install any of them on any tank. However, the results may look quite strange.
After selecting the desired customization, press ESC to return to the Garage and apply the changes. To remove customization elements, use the reset button in the lower-right corner or simply replace them with another customization item.
BUT! As expected, only you will be able to see these customizations, just like with other similar mods. You also won’t be able to purchase unavailable customization items, even if the game client appears to offer that option.
Additionally, because of the enormous number of available elements, some customization categories (2D styles, emblems, and decals) may take longer to load. For the same reason, applying certain elements to vehicles may not happen instantly.
In short, Camo Selector allows you to explore virtually all customization content available in the game client and create a unique appearance for your vehicles visible only to yourself.
