3. Rebalance of equipment (1/2 part)

We’ve already covered these changes as they were implemented at Supertest quite recently. In the Common test, the edits remained the same.

  • Pz.Kpfw. VII
  • AMX 50 Foch B
  • Super Conqueror
  • Controcarro 3 Minotauro

The first two vehicles will be improved, while the Super Conqueror and Controcarro 3 Minotauro will receive changes that will reduce their superiority on the battlefield.

To ensure balance after making changes to the performance characteristics of Tier X vehicles, we will also change the characteristics of French and Italian tank destroyers of Tiers VIII–IX in the corresponding branches.

4. Balance changes to maps (part 1)

“Mountain Pass”:

— Earlier video with changes from the supertest:

  • Balance adjustments have been made to ensure the bottom team doesn’t have an unfair advantage.
  • The part of the map near the lower base has been reworked. Bushes that made attacking actions difficult have been removed. The river has been leveled and widened near the hill to move vehicle starting points in this area and improve timing on the map. The ability to attack the base from the glacier has been improved: the slope now provides more tactical options.
  • The position of the rock in the main opposition area in squares C7-D8 has been changed to increase visibility and improve crosses on the bottom team.
  • The position in square E6, from which the top team shot through the glacier zone, is blocked because the bottom team did not have such a position, and in some cases this zone became a trap.
  • The heights of the hills in squares E3 and G5 have been adjusted to ensure equal playing opportunities for both teams.

“Karelia”:

  • Balance changes have been made to slightly expand the capabilities of the top team.
  • Added and improved positions for self-propelled guns near the top team’s base in squares B7 and C7.
  • Access to the rocky area in square B4 has become safer and the position itself has improved slightly. Slope corner position in square C5 has also been improved.
  • The rock positions in squares H6 and H7 have been adjusted slightly to make it more difficult to shoot up the hill from SPG positions near the lower base.
  • The route to the hill in square G5 from the swamp has been improved for the lower team.

“Mines”:

  • Balance changes have been made to slightly improve the top team’s capabilities.
  • Most of the vegetation in square C9 has been removed because… this position gave a significant advantage to the bottom team.
  • Improved crosses for the top team from the “shelves” in squares A4–A5.

“Outpost”:

  • The gameplay has become more comfortable due to the expansion of the capabilities of light tanks.
  • The vegetation in square G7 has been made taller to provide a more comfortable play area for light tanks.
  • New rocks have been added and the terrain has been expanded to make positions in squares G7–G8 safer. The vegetation in this area has also been moved to provide a more comfortable gaming experience for light tanks.

“El Halluf”:

  • The bush in square C2, which interfered with the game when playing with heavy equipment, has been removed.

5. Crew Upgrade: 100% Efficient

  • All crew members are now 100% trained and can immediately select a skill to learn.
  • All Crew Experience between 50% and 100% of the training level will be focused on skill learning. There will be no more crews less than 100% trained!
  • The parameter “level of proficiency in the main specialty” has been replaced by “crew efficiency”. This is a two-digit indicator common to the entire crew.
  • New crew members can be recruited for free. You no longer have to choose between free transactions and transactions for credits or gold.
  • A new button in the Barracks allows players to write off all crew members who do not have 100% experience to learn the first skill and receive compensation in the form of training booklets. This is a one-time option and cannot be undone!
Please note: this option will not affect crews with equipment and zero skills, as well as unique crew members (for example, celebrities, etc.).
  • When retraining a crew member, the player can choose between a free option and an option for credits or gold. By choosing free retraining or retraining for credits, the player will lose a certain amount of experience from a specially designated reserve of 100,000 experience.
  • The default skill effectiveness of any crew member is 100%. If this value decreases, the effectiveness of all tanker skills will also decrease.
  • If a crew member is placed in a vehicle for which they are not trained, they will not be able to use the skills.
  • A separate option for changing the main specialty of a crew member has been removed. You can change your crew skills by retraining (for credits or gold).
  • Additional penalties to experience when retraining a crew member for a different type of vehicle have been removed. The fine applies only if a crew member changes their primary specialty for credits.
  • Players can drop off crew members at the Barracks even if there are not enough room (depending on their number). If the limit is exceeded, it will be impossible to recruit new crew members, however, the number of places in the Barracks can be increased with the help of recruits and by purchasing special offers.
  • Improved interfaces (for example: when purchasing any equipment).
  • Added welcome and reward screens.

6. Post-mortem mode (KillCam)

The afterlife mode will appear in update 1.24.1, but it will not initially be supported on maps with random events. Support will be added soon.

Added “Last Moment” mechanic. Now you will be able to see the shot that destroyed your tank.

  • The camera will show the enemy and the trajectory of his shot (only when spotted), the player’s tank, as well as other objects at the moment of destruction.
  • Additionally, information will be displayed about the projectile, its armor penetration, distance, armor thickness and damage, as well as how it was calculated for a specific shot. The player can press the SPACEBAR to pause the Last Moment playback and get even more information.
  • Last Moment includes long and short versions, allowing you to choose the amount of information you receive. You can change the display type in Settings.
  • The mechanics apply in most cases of destruction of equipment and take into account all types of projectiles, explosions, ricochets, fires, and downed tracks. The mechanic will be unavailable if the vehicle is destroyed by combat skills, ramming, friendly fire, or as a result of a fall.
  • Last Minute will be enabled by default. It can be skipped or completely disabled in the game settings.

The Observer Camera (Free Camera) has updated features and user interface. It works in all non-competitive game modes.

  • Now the player can aim at 3D markers of allied vehicles on the ground and objects and immediately switch to observe them.
  • The player can change the height and speed of the camera.

7. Improvements in “Steel Hunter”

This launch will feature improved platoon mechanics, making it easier for you to find a random platoon mate. Just press the button and another player looking for a platoon will be offered to you as a partner. There will also be a voice communication function in the mode, making it even more convenient to communicate and go out together into the next battle.

Added new features for platoon battles:

— Random platoons will allow you to fight as part of a formation with a random player close to your experience.

  • On the post-battle statistics screen, you will be able to invite this player to a regular platoon to continue playing together.

– Added voice communication.

  • Three daily combat missions have been added.
  • The first task can be completed either alone or as part of a platoon or squad. The remaining two tasks can only be completed as part of a platoon or squad with a clan member.
  • Each task can only be completed after the previous one has completed.
  • Rewards for completing daily combat missions include industrial resources and campaign points (new clan currency). They must be collected manually to access the next day’s tasks.

9. Other

  1. CS-63 CLONE STYLE GOT DESTROYED BY THAT ANIMAL. SEND THOSE USELESS DEVS TO A HORSE RACE GAME INSTEAD. THE REAL PLAYERS INSTALLED A WAR GAME. BUT THE WG ONLY RECEIVES FEEDBACK FROM FAKE ACCOUNTS AND AMERICAN TRASH AGENDAS THAT PROTECT THE USA GAMES BY DOWNGRADING THE EUROPE’S GAMES.

  2. I ESTIMATE THAT WG RECEIVES REAL FEEDBACK ONLY FROM 10 ACCOUNTS OUT OF 200 ACCOUNTS. I FOUND REAL FEEDBACK ONLY IN 10 COMMENTS OUT OF 200 COMMENTS.
