Update 1.5.1 Common Test: 3rd Iteration Patchnotes

Update (30/05): Commanders! The third Common Test is now ready for you! Jump into battle right now.

Patchnotes CT3

Main Changes

Changes to the Frontline mode
Changed the number of slots for the Combat Reserves that are available to each vehicle type. Now their number is as follows:

  • Light tanks: 1 slot instead of 3
  • Medium tanks: 2 slots instead of 1
  • Heavy tanks: 3 slots instead of 1
  • TDs: no changes (2 slots)
  • SPGs: 1 slot instead of 3

Decreased the respawn cooldown from 30 to 10 seconds.

Increased the repair cooldown of destroyed vehicles from 5 to 7 minutes (the reinforcement cooldown remains unchanged).

Now the objectives (pillboxes with the large-caliber guns) spot enemy vehicles of the attacking team according to the standard rules of spotting. The view range of the pillboxes is Х meters.

Other changes

Fixed some technical issues.

  1. Heavy tanks are the most difficult class to play so they have to compensate them with 3 reserve slots. Fucking WG logic.

    1. In frontline they are, most of the time they are too slow to anything meaningful, after one miniskirmish is over you have to drive for several minutes to find the next fight while light can do it in less than a minute.

      1. In light tank you actually need to know how to play to survive to be able to move from skirmish to skirmish. In a heavy tank you just press the fucking W and you\’re done.

  2. Single SPG to general is almost impossible now.
On the other hand, I can grind IS-3 much faster.

      1. Agreed. It\’s like getting three different types of cancer if you encounter one arty player. Makes the game just not fun.

  3. and…no tank changes??
stil Leo\’s perform LESS velocity than fkin RUSKIS wich are not even snipers…
    still not enough accuracy…
still no reason to get them…

  4. IMO: minor changes to the Frontline that don\’t even address the most important issues of the mode…10 sec cooldown should be only for defending side, repair cooldown only harms those people that are playing this mode to grind some tier8, heavies with 3 reserves is a bad idea…the only things done well is the objectives spotting and the spg reserves to 1. Very surprising it took them this long for a few trivial changes, but then again it\’s WG…

  5. 3rd iteration and still no leo1 anf stb1 buffs?
    Only stupid rebalance?
    Fuck WG.
    Fuck the new balance team.
    Fuck Russia.

  6. So now every HT will become to be also arty. So everyone who hates arty will be using arty attack. That an irony is that 😉

    1. I find fast heavies to be a good pick for the first tank. It doesn\’t take much time to find the enemy and you can be a little bit more cheeky.
