Crew is crucial!

With the release of Update 1.5.1, we’re introducing a new feature, Crew Books, allowing you to speed up training one or more crew members by instantly adding a certain amount of Crew XP. You can get Crew Books:

  • As rewards in various game events
  • As free items from Rewards for Merit that drop with a certain probability when playing Tier V–X vehicles
  • And some types are available for Credits.

Let’s take a closer look!

General Overview

Crew Books are consumable boosters and disappear immediately after use. Each type of Crew Book has its own value. The higher the value, the more experience a crew member will receive when used.

In total, there are four types of Crew Books:

  • Training Booklet – Boosts the entire crew of a specific tank. Available as a Reward for Merit.
  • Training Guide – Boosts the entire crew of a specific tank. Available as a Reward for Merit, it provides a greater amount of Crew XP compared to Training Booklets.
  • Training Manual – Boosts the entire crew of a specific tank. Available as an in-game event reward.
  • Personal Training Manual – Boosts a specific crew member of your choosing. Available as an in-game event reward.

Training Manuals and Personal Training Manuals are the most valuable Crew Books as they provide you with a huge amount of Crew XP. Personal Training Manual offers a fixed amount of Crew XP to a particular crew member, their fundamental difference when compared to the other Crew Books.

NOTE: The Personal Training Manual concept is not yet finalized, so these Crew Books will be introduced once we fully complete their configuration.

Can I Purchase a Crew Book?

With the release of Update 1.5.1, we’ll credit each player with an initial set of Training Booklets (one for each nation, 11 in total), and you will be able to get Crew Books for free through in-game events. However, you will also be able to purchase Training Manuals for Credits.

NOTE: Purchased Personal Training Manuals will provide you with Crew XP, but not with Free XP!

Received and purchased Crew Books will be permanently stored in a special section in your Depot. The specific terms of their use and the amount of Crew XP they provide are shown below.

  • The major qualification of all crew members must be 100%
  • The specialization of all crew members must correspond to a specific tank
  • The vehicle must have a full crew

Training Manual

250,000
  • Can only be used on vehicles of the respective nation
  • The major qualification of all crew members must be 100%
  • The specialization of all crew members must correspond to a specific tank
  • The vehicle must have a full crew

Personal Training Manual

850,000
  • Can be used on any vehicle of any nation
  • The level of qualification and the specialization of all crew members doesn’t matter
  • Can be used on vehicles with incomplete crews

NOTE: The Crew Books values are not final and may change after the official release of the feature!

    1. I\’d rather think of it as a bonus to whatever you do. It would give another crew for a skilled player who knows good crew management and overall, while someone who generally has no idea will not benefit.
      As for the skill vs no skill? nothng changes, it merely gives you another weapon that you know or do not know how to use.

    iv left come back left so many times since the late Beta always hoping that the MM (there is no MM) and the stupid +2 MM (was +3MM once! oh fuck me so bad) has been removed

    how this dunned down simplistic game is still around is a mystery to me
    and the Maps are still just 1km in size AFTER 7 years still!!!

    Wargame are still the same shit Company they always were
