Fauteur: Balance Improvements

The Fauteur, a Tier XI French heavy tank, is receiving a set of targeted improvements. These changes affect both its unique special ability and base parameters. Now you can use its high-powered firing mode with greater confidence. You can check out the exact stat changes in the Patch Notes on the portal.

Matchmaker Updates: Improvements and What’s Next

Since sharing our plans in March, we’ve been closely following your feedback—and now we’re ready to roll out several of the announced improvements. Starting with Update 2.3, the matchmaker will feature:

  • Reduced number of two-tiers-above battles for Tier VII–IX vehicles

  • Artillery limits—no more than two SPGs per team

  • Platoon balancing by tier—Platoons are matched with others of the same tier.

  • Fewer non-15×15 battles

Our goal is simple: make every battle feel fair, balanced, diverse, and comfortable. Work on the matchmaker continues. In this Update, we’ll keep testing new features. Check out the link below for more details.

Arcade Cabinet: Equalize!

Lower-tier vehicles receive boosted characteristics, allowing them to compete with higher-tier machines and shine in unexpected ways.

Roll Out!

10 thoughts on “WoT Update 2.3: Warming Up

  1. Thanks for the update summary! By the way, I’ve been using Transcriptly to convert WoT gameplay videos into text guides – it transcribes audio with 98.9% accuracy and supports 98+ languages. Super helpful for creating written content from stream recordings. Check it out if you create video content!

  2. Current gameplay seems to be geared towards driving people away from the main game

    Never going to happen

No-one in their right mind would start over again and go through the years of BS we’ve had to deal with

  3. Your so-called “years full of crap” have now been reduced to just a few weeks. After all, every Tech Tree has been streamlined and pruned, so you no longer have to research so many useless modules. Every tank in the Tech Tree has been buffed or adjusted. On top of that, there are the 5x missions and many other “accelerators.” Why are you complaining?

  4. Your “Matchmaker” is rigged dogshit, totally obvious to any regular player

Up the hold-the-line perk to 10%, or even 15% and give us some gameplay that’s interesting ffs

  5. and these throw-the-game teams that the matchmaker constantly feeds us nowadays makes any effort pretty pointless

If your team aint total crap then the other team are total crap

Maybe something more exciting beckons… like girl football or something

  6. I’m not a Wargamming Simp, but I have to say I’ve only been playing the last 8 years. I’m not as jaded as others and probably play 1 to 2 hours a day. But I think the game is pretty solid and fun. Its only if you are competitive and obsessed by win rate that I think this game can be frustrating.

The sign of a good player is someone who can still carry their team even with a bunch of tomatos on your team.

Understand if people need to quit, but people don’t need to swarm message boards talking about their born again status and life improvement once quitting.

  7. My life is fine, honest.
The frustration is being part of a potentially awesome game that gets run like a local council disaster.

Potential Solutions exist and what’s left of the playerbase know that.

The flip side is their chronic bad management does save players buckets of money
