WoT Blitz plans to bring back Enemy Chat

Sources tell that in WoT Blitz, the devs are planning to have the normal chat returned soon. Currently, inter-team communication is prohibited, and communication with the own team is allowed only for tanks that are alive.

  1. Instead of disabling cross-team chat but allowing dead tanks to talk, they should authorize cross-team chat but make it so that if you are dead you can just watch or go back to garage. Dead people don’t speak, that means they wont be able to rage at everyone including their team mate, and remaining players will have to move their ass instead of relying on dead players to tell them everything they need to do.

On PC at least. I do not play blitz but they already disabled it for dead tanks.
It’s dead players that are the most toxic. When alive they dont have the time to send messages, it’s when they are dead that they become a problem for their team.

Why should they even reenable cross team chat then? It would only be useful to dead players.

    1. For the joy of mocking that tomato who yolorushed you and got dispatched by a 50 100 teammate behind your back, or for pleasure of taking a shell from a t30 at the end of battle in old SP1c, clipping him and typing “I eat your puny shells”
      Eh great time wasn’t it

  2. Well, you also have the occasional “cheetor! #*#* haxxor!“ when you shoot some newbie or tomato while using knowledge of the sight mechanic (double bush or using an spotter).

That never got old back with cross team chat.

And as serious side note: I liked to congratulate, if an enemy was really good and outplayed me. That and mocking arty that just missed me. ;-D

  3. Wonder if World of Tanks will be smart enough to follow their example. I’d love to come back to WoT. But until allchat does, I won’t.
