WoWS: Flamu Removed from CC Program
Quoting his Twitter:
„I have just been informed I have been removed from the CC program for tweets that they disagree with as well as stat shaming. I knew the day would come with my criticism of the disastrous CV and Commander rework, and honestly, I don’t mind at all. Freedom, flolo unleashed boys!”
Note: he is the biggest, most popular (by subscribers) WoWS influencer. (112000 Youtube, 11 k+ Twitter).
He also got mail that WG noticed 7 stat shaming cases, and this tweet:
Guess we'll be seeing some CVs in KoTS to add to the diversity that the great commander rework already brought us. pic.twitter.com/mlFbVgGr04
— Flamu (@flamuchz) February 5, 2021
Sources also tell that WG also warned CCs and Supertesters that they could not talk about the Flamuu kick from CC and also put this information on the NDA channel so that they could not talk about it.
His video about it:
WoWS ST, Axis vs Allies
In the near future, we will conduct a closed test for a new battle type inspired by real-world naval battles. In the new “Axis vs Allies” battle, you will be able to fight only in ships that were completed in reality and in teams that are composed depending on each ship’s nationality.
Rules
Depending on the ship picked a player gets into one of two teams:
- Axis: Italian, German, and Japanese ships
- Allies: American, British, French, Soviet, European, and Pan-Asian ships.
The battles will be conducted in a “12 vs 12” format on Tier VIII ships. Only ships that were built in reality, as well as their in-game counterparts (such as Black, ARP, Azur Lane ships and etc.) are allowed to enter battle. If you dislike the appearance of camouflages of counterpart-ships, you can switch their display off using a special filter in the Port.
List of allowed ships:
WoWS – Naval Legends: Bespokoynyy Trailer.
WoWS – 0.10.1: Italian battleships and free bundles.
WoWS: ST 0.10.1, changes to test ships
We adjusted the parameters of some ships based on testing results. The changes will be applied to hybrids Ise and Tone
VI Ise, VI Ise 2, VI Ise 3; VIII Tone, VIII Tone 2, VIII Tone 3:
- At the start of a battle, the squadron launching cooldown will be active, similar to how battles start with main battery guns and torpedo tubes unloaded.
WoWS ST 0.10.2, Big Hunt event, Italian battleships, visual improvements
New temporary battle type, early access to Italian battleships, and other new features in update 0.10.2.
Please note that all information in the development blog is preliminary. Announced adjustments and features may change multiple times during testing.
Big Hunt
In Update 0.10.2, a new temporary battle type “Big Hunt” will be available for players. It’s an updated version of the “Key Battle” from update 0.9.10.
Basic rules
16 players will fight on a giant map – the Polygon – with each other and with monsters controlled by artificial intelligence.
All players will start the battle alone but can assemble a team or join other players as the battle plays out.
It is now possible to go into one battle in a division, but each player still starts the battle alone. Therefore, to play together, the division will still need to find each other on the map and team-up.
The main objective is to leave the Polygon through the portal located in the center of the map. Now you do not need a key to exit the portal.
Big Hunt ends when all surviving players exit through the portal, or when the battle time expires. In the new mode, there will be no final battle in the Octagon.

WoWS ST 0.10.2, New ships
British tier VIII cruiser Tiger ’59 and German Tier VII cruiser Weimar were added to the game for testing.
Please note that all information in the development blog is preliminary. Announced adjustments and features may change multiple times during testing.
British cruiser Tiger ’59, tier VIII
One of the last artillery cruisers of the Royal Navy, armed with four 152mm rapid-firing guns in two turrets — the most advanced and powerful multi-purpose guns Britain had in the 1950s. The ship is armed with only AP shells, similar to the researchable British light cruisers, and is equipped with a solid set of consumables: Repair Party, Surveillance Radar, Smoke Generator, and Defensive AA Fire. However, the Tiger lacks torpedo armament. The cruiser stands out for its good maneuverability and small detectability range, but she has a low firing range and weak armor. Due to her arcing ballistics, the Tiger is best suited for firing over islands or out of smokescreens, if the situation permits.
German cruiser Weimar, tier VII
A light cruiser armed with twelve 150mm guns. A variant of the Yorck-class cruiser with modified artillery composition. Weimar’s guns have flat ballistics and a high rate of fire. Thanks to her good armor and the availability of the Hydroacoustic Search consumable, the ship feels most comfortable in short- and medium-range battles. She’s also equipped with the uncommon for German cruisers “Engine Boost” consumable, which increases the maximum speed of the ship by 15%, helping to quickly reach key positions on the map. Also, 12 torpedoes with a range of 6 km will be very useful in close combat.
