The World of Tanks Generals servers will be shutting down April 15, 12:00 GMT+3. The Portal, Forum, and Support Center will stay operational until May 15.
What happens to my purchased goods on my World of Tanks Generals account?
Your Gold and free Experience will be transferred to the most active Wargaming title, on Tuesday April 18. This Gold excludes that earned from in-game tutorials, etc.

On an official WG RU stream, the developers are considering the removal of the artillery class if the stun mechanics currently being tested on the Sandbox server are received negatively.

We regret to inform that on April 15, 2017, World of Tanks Generals project will be closed. Also, the “generals” will be excluded from the list of games that we offer, which will be reflected in the user agreement.
On October 9, 2016, payments will be disabled in the Premium store. The remaining game currency can be used in the game until 15 April 2017. After that, it will be automatically transferred to the Wargaming game universe in which you play most often.

I recieved a mail about this, so I decided to share it – the cards look pretty good. Tank Wars is a highly strategic version of a World War II tank game. The main beauty of it, the versatility of its deck, allows you to not only play Tank Wars with different rule sets, but also any other card game that you would play with a conventional deck.
Some basics about the main game modes are as follows:
There are 4 nations in the game: 2 allied powers and 2 axis powers, with one side being the U.S.S.R and the U.S.A, and the other being Germany and Japan, respectively.
Each nation corresponds to a different suit of cards in our deck : Germany for clubs, etc.
U.S.A and U.S.S.R tanks
A few modes can be played : Historical mode: the U.S.S.R and the U.S.A fight against Germany and Japan as allies. Random mode: Each nation gets its ally in a random order. Free for all: Every nation fights for themselves. All versus one(for real heroes): Three nations are teaming up against the fourth one.

We regretfully announce that World of Tanks Generals will be stopping development as of today, 15 April 2016. But don’t worry, this doesn’t mean that you have to stop playing. We want all of you to keep the battle going and continue challenging people from around the world because we’re making sure the World of Tanks Generals servers remain active.
We want to thank everyone involved with the game: our passionate beta testers, players, reviewers and those we had the pleasure of saying “hi” to at events all over the world. We still want you to get the most from World of Tanks Generals, and we hope you had fun battling and won’t let this stop you.
However, all of the team have come to the decision that it’s important we focus on other projects. This wasn’t an easy decision to make, but you can rest assured that we will use the expertise and knowledge gained from working on this game to bring you even more exciting projects in the future.
