The Newly Discovered Romanian Tank Destroyer Apex

Ever since the mid-1950’s, Romania was slowly distancing itself from the Communist bloc. All while staying loyal to the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact, but steadily loosening the Soviet grip on Romania’s economy and military. After Nicolae Ceaușescu, the Communist leader of Romania (1965 – 1989), condemned the 20th of August 1968 Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia, relations between the Romanians and the Warsaw Pact were significantly diminished.

The Romanian military was no longer under the control of the Soviets and the Warsaw Pact due to the incident, although they were still formally part of the Warsaw Pact. From the 1970’s onwards, Romania was generally free to develop and manufacture whatever equipment they were capable of, while buying some of it from Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union.

WoT Blitz – Update 3.6 – Changes to the Battle Chat

Coordination between allies is extremely important for successful teamwork, which is why World of Tanks Blitz features the battle chat and quick commands menu. Unfortunately, the chat is frequently used inappropriately: damaged allies might disclose your position to the enemy, and the enemy can distract you with taunts or worse. To save you from all this, the following changes will be applied in Update 3.6:

The chat between enemy teams will be disabled.
Communication with allies will only be available while your vehicle is not destroyed.
Platoon chat will remain unchanged: you will be able to send messages to your platoon mate even after your vehicle is destroyed.

The changes will be applied to Random Battles and tournaments. Chat settings will not be changed for training rooms.

WoT Blitz: Update 3.6 – Vehicle Enrichment

Almost every one of you has a favourite tank—the vehicle that you fight on most often, the vehicle that has served you faithfully in hundreds of battles. Wouldn’t it be great if it could not only bring you enjoyment and high stats, but also plenty of credits? In Update 3.6, your dream will come true: you’ll be able to enrich your favourite vehicles and earn more credits in battles on them!

The enrichment option will be available on the vehicle upgrades screen. It will allow you to increase the profitability of researchable vehicles using gold. The expenses will remain the same, but the net profit after each battle will increase.

Let’s consider the effect of enrichment and Premium Account, using ten consecutive battles in the STA-1 as an example, with provisions and consumables included.

WoT Blitz: Update 3.6 – New French Vehicles

In Update 3.6, ten French tanks will be introduced, including the top three “heavyweights” with autoloaders and powerful engines. Meet the French and learn more about them in this article!

Tier I. Renault FT

At the beginning of the French branch stands the predecessor to the Soviet MS-1, the first tank in history to use this classic configuration. After the release of Update 3.6, the Renault FT will be added to your Garage together with a free slot.

The Renault FT isn’t the fastest vehicle. It gains speed quickly, but its top speed doesn’t exceed 21 km/h. From the three available guns, the 25 mm six-shooter will be the best choice: good penetration and an average damage of 150 HP every 5 seconds speak for themselves.
