Hello everyone. This is a very important thing, about how do I get money:

I gain no revenue from ads. This blog is hosted by WordPress and they get to fit their ads here how they want, unfortunately. So, you can turn on the AdBlock add-on/plug-in/whatever, without me being affected. At all! I encourage you to do it and save your precious bandwidth. 🙂

Until now I gained like 35 € from donations. I spotted a great historical book on Amazon about the Japanese WW2 Navy in the latter years (when they started losing the war but were still a powerful enemy). I will also check out other books full of stuff (so I can get the best bang for the buck) Shipping to Romania is expensive, so I plan to order more books at once in the near future. I will also post pictures on my blog once I get my hands on them. Thank you. It may look like a small amount, but it really matters to me.

AW – In Development – ERC 90 “Sagaie”

Obsidian Entertainment and My.com are proud to present another upcoming vehicle in Armored Warfare. To celebrate the French Bastille day we have chosen to unveil a French vehicle that will be implemented in the future – the ERC 90 “Sagaie”.

The ERC 90 “Sagaie” is a French heavily armed reconnaissance vehicle and tank destroyer. The ERC designation stands for “Engin à Roues, Canon” (wheeled vehicle, gun-equipped), although other sources do mention the shortcut standing for “Engin de Reconnaissance, Canon” (recon vehicle, gun-equipped). In the war-torn world of the future, the oil still is the lifeblood of warfare and capturing strategic points such as refineries and pumping stations often means the difference between life and death. The Pipelines map takes the players to the Middle East where a large refinery fell into the hands of the enemy. Chrysler T110 Heavy Tank

Speaking about the T110 Heavy Tank series, these vehicles successfully raised many questions among people, especially about their existence. Even after deploying the M103 Heavy Tank, the Americans were still not satisfied with its performance on the battlefield. Thus, it was decided to recreate it again with 2 methods – evolutionary and revolutionary ones. The former was an attempt to improve its performance by mounting an autoloader system, eventually resulting in the development of the T57 (120 mm) and T58 (155 mm, also a derivative from the T30 Heavy Tank). And the latter was an attempt to create the tank from scratch.

The T110 series’ history began in June 1954, when Detroit Arsenal had a conference concerning the further development of heavy tanks. The conference presented several options for development, including projects named TS-2, TS-5, TS-6 and TS-31. The TS Tank Concepts were supposed to achieve the most optimum design of a heavy tank, which was planned to bring them to the prototype stage within 2 years. The first basis on this matter was the TS-31, originally built as a combat vehicle armed with the 120 mm T123E1 gun, and it didn’t have a fully rotating turret.

The TS-31 idea was picked up by Chrysler Corporation to unfold the production of the M103 Heavy Tank. As a result, Chrysler Corporation and Detroit Arsenal cooperated to develop a new heavy tank, and it received the index “T110 Heavy Tank”. It should be noted that the US Heavy Tank designation was very conditional at the time, because the original T110 looked like this:
