Dense thunderclouds are gathering over the Global Map. A powerful thunderstorm is coming, bringing with it a new war for supremacy and tons of valuable loot. From July 26 through August 9, the Global Map will host our newest clan event—Thunderstorm—so be sure to mark your calendars!

The rules remain the same: Challenge the top clans, dominate the battlefield, and earn one of six high-performing Tier X reward vehicles and a host of other prizes. Join intense battles and fight hard for exclusive rewards!

General Rules

The concept of the Thunderstorm event will be familiar to those of you who took part in the Renaissance event. Let’s review the core gameplay rules:

  • Battles take place in the 15v15 format in Tier X vehicles.
  • Clans earn Fame Points both in battles and for strategic decisions that Commanders make. Clan fighters receive personal Fame Points to redeem bonuses and personal rewards when the event is over.
  • The playing field will be divided into three Fronts, each with its own size, bonuses, and specific number of Fame Points that can be earned. The clan leader’s task is to develop a strategy to achieve the clan’s goals.
  • The clan leader decides how to use the clan’s Fame Points. These points can be saved or spent in the Laboratory for various bonuses that provide strategic advantages or increase the speed at which clan Fame Points are earned.
  • Vehicles can be equipped with experimental modules.

WoT EU: Summer Sales

We hope you’re enjoying everything summer has to offer, from warm sunny weather to lots of outdoor activities. We would like to make the season even more enjoyable for you with something cool and tasty. Like ice cream, but better! Because the only things melting during the Summer Sales from July 14 through July 23 are the prices for cool Premium vehicles.

The Rules

In case you don’t know the Summer Sales rules already, you will receive one offer per day for 10 days, available for 24 hours, with another surprise to arrive the next day (at 08:00 CEST (UTC+2), to be precise). The last of these offers will be revealed on July 23 and remain available for a week, so be sure to make some space in your Garage! Most of the daily offers will be available in both the in-game Store and the Premium Shop. In the latter case, we’ll throw in some extra goodies (more on that below). Also, every day starting from July 13, there will be a mission available for everyone, allowing you to earn even more valuables!

Supertest: WZ-113 II (Initial Stats)

The WZ-113-II a Tier VIII Chinese heavy tank is coming to the Supertest today.

This vehicle is armed with a 100 mm gun that can deal 320 damage per shot.  It has an aiming time of 2.3 s and an accuracy of 0.39. Its standard AP shells are capable of penetrating 215 mm-thick armor, and its special APCR shells can penetrate plating as thick as 265 mm. The reload time is 10 s.

The WZ-113-II boasts excellent all-round protection, It’s frontal armor can reach as much as 240 mm. This, in combination with the rational angles of its armor slopes and durability of 1,550 HP, ensures a high degree of survivability. The heavy tank can drive at a top speed of 40 km/h with a specific power to weight ratio of 14.9 h.p./t.

The WZ-113-II is a typical heavy tank that, due to its decent armor, is very forgiving of any mistakes that might be made by its Commander. An effective combination of firepower and dynamics allows this heavy tank to perform the role of an assault vehicle. The only thing that’s important to keep in mind is the mediocre gun depression angle.
