War Thunder – Plane Gunner’s View

In update 1.71 New E.R.A. we implement new camera view  for the defensive turret for more than 50 aircraft with one gunner position. The view has been moved as close to the weapon as possible, thus parallax effect is reduced. This view mode is enabled by default, but you can switch back to classic view in the settings.

WoT – Various Stuff 06.09.2017

Source: Rykoszet

  • The real reason why the Chieftain Mk. 6 isn’t implemented yet, is because WG is trying to fill out a branch starting from the Churchill GC
  • There’s an idea to (re)move the Churchill GC and make a link like with the JP2 and Ferdinand in the German TD tree
  • Polish tech tree is slated for 2018/2019
  • Italians are also predicted for that time span, with the emphasis on 2019 so the Poles ‘quiet down’
  • CN TDs are a bulls-eye, so the JP super-heavy TDs will become reality
  • New prem tanks ‘soonish’. There’s an idea to move some prems from the Supertest to the regular trees

War Thunder – Chieftain Mk. 10

Once the Chieftain’s superior armour was deemed incapable of absorbing modern high-penetrating kinetic and shape charge rounds, British engineers came up with a solution to remedy this issue and keep the Chieftain in service for a decade longer. Equipped with the Stillbrew armour package, the Chieftain Mk.10 is ready to be deployed as Great Britain’s first rank VI vehicle in War Thunder’s upcoming update 1.71 “New E.R.A.”!
