Historical Reference:
The Husarz (“Hussar”) tank destroyer project. It was developed in 1957 at the Labędy Mechanical Plant in Gliwice in cooperation with the Ministry of National Defense of the Polish People’s Republic.
The vehicle’s armament and powerplant were intended to utilize the latest technologies provided by the Soviet Union. Development never progressed beyond the blueprint stage, as Poland, like the USSR, shifted its focus toward the development of missile technology.
