Attention all Shipwrights! A new Dockyard is coming to World of Warships in Update 12.11.
Sestri Ponente Dockyard
Update 12.11 brings us to Sestri Ponente in the Italian Riviera for the construction of IX Michelangelo at the Dockyard. The Sestri Ponente Dockyard will contain 32 phases, 27 of which may be completed through missions. At least 5 phases will need to be purchased with Doubloons to finish the construction of Michelangelo and add her to your port. Starter Packs of 5 and 10 phases will be available to buy for 6,000 and 10,000 Doubloons respectively. You can also buy individual phases for 1,750 doubloons each.
Once constructed, Michelangelo will boast twin four-barrel turrets that let loose 320mm Armor Piercing or Semi-Armor Piercing shells. She will also be heavily armored and brimming with SAP secondaries!
Builders will be able to comfortably sail this ship into battle under the cover of an Exhaust Smoke Generator while her Hydroacoustic Search keeps watch for enemy activity. She even has fast Torpedoes for delivering that knockout blow in close quarters.
Dockyard missions may be completed through Updates 12.11, 13.0, and the first two weeks of 13.1. The dockyard itself will remain in port Until the end of update 13.1.

During Update 12.11, players who purchase Santa’s Gift containers for money via our Premium Shop or in the Armory are going to receive a special currency as a bonus that can be spent on new permanent camouflages:
- The Polar Ice Cap permanent camouflage for IX Alaska, IX Georgia, VIII Lightning, VII Algérie, VII Leberecht Maass, and VII Hyūga
- The Shōgatsu permanent camouflage for X Yoshino

Commander Skill Recommendations Changes
We changed Commander skills recommendations for the majority of ships in the game in order to accommodate the Commander skill update taking place in Update 12.10.
Other Changes
The effects of the X-ray Papa Unaone and November Foxtrot signal flags, as well as the Smoke Generator Modification 1 upgrade were changed to include the Smoke Curtain Generator consumable found on the upcoming second American aircraft carrier line:
- November Foxtrot – added an effect that reduces the reload of squadron consumables by 5%;
- X-ray Papa Unaone – added an effect that increases the action time of the Smoke Curtain Generator consumable by 5%;
- Smoke Generator Modification 1 – changed to be applicable to the Smoke Curtain Generator consumable.
The effect of the Squadron Consumables Modification 1 upgrade has also been changed:
- Squadron Consumables Modification 1 – replaced the effect that increased squadron consumable action time with a new effect that adds +1 additional consumable charge for squadrons.
