The Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. F2 is a Tier V German medium tank.
The tank features the long-barrel 7.5 cmKwK 40 gun with an overall good 110/110/175 HP of damage and 94/130/38 mm of penetration, backing up these performance figures with a decent 360 m of view range. Regarding its other specs, the tank fits somewhere in between its peers.
The standard gameplay for the Ausf. F2 consists of occupying areas key for medium tanks and supporting its heavy teammates.
The pen values dont add up your editor must be drunk..
The pen values match the ingame gun of the F2 related cannons; the 7.5cm(75mm) K.w.K.40/L48,
..are you expecting it to be some ‘uber-powered’ weapon for tier V ? for what likely will be a gift/loot-box or low-cost tank,
It has view range proposed is a nice 360m instead of 350m or 340m, hopefully it’s turret/gun handling might be a little better too by I’m guessing, 0.02 (to 0.04) less reticle bloom on moving.
Basically this will be an 'OK' medium tier crew (XP) trainer & credit earner, but otherwise much alike the ingame Pz.Kpfw. IV D's & H's with the same L43 cannon.
At least its has those values and not those of the Pz.Kpfw. III.ausf.K with the same gun at tier IV, but with only 103/139/38 pen.
The pen value in the discription and screenshot did not match up i ment lol it was 93 or so when it first popped up.
Here it is “94/130/38 mm of penetration”

Nice. More Panzer IVs are always welcomed. The STC of this particular one appears to be the Ausf. G or as was known briefly as the Ausf. F2 before being charged to Ausf. G.
It’s an ausf. F2. The name is now used to distinguish it from the later G versions.
Its an Ausf. G based on the thickness of the hull armour.
The F2 should have only 50mm, while the G has a bolted-on plate of 30mm ontop of that.
For the H they made the plate 80mm thick without the need for the bolted-on plate.
Then again, the G also has the +30mm plate bolted to the turret front, which this one doesn’t…
So F½G I guess?
WG probably fudged the stats to make it competitive at T5. It has the F2 muzzle and the visual model lacks the bolted on plate.
One of the things I hated most about the simplified tech trees that were introduced in 1.9 is that the Panzer IV is barely present in it. I mean, imagine if the US tech tree only had a single Sherman. That’s what it’s like having a German line with only a single Panzer IV.
Also, the Panzer IV H’s position in the tech tree really doesn’t make any sense either. It ought to be leading into the VK 30.02 M rather than the VK 30.01 P.

IMHO the best of the three padding tanks revealed so far, I’d keep this one.
Looks great. Now they just need to make tier 5 relevant and make it count for battle pass also.
For tiers 1-4 add bots if needed so there isn’t a 5min wait to join a match, if you get to join one.
Better yet, just combine the NA and EU server into one not so happy family. That might even improve the MM.
Tiers 4 to 5 should be 25 to 50 battle points since tier 6 is 100.. Would be a positive in my opinion.
