WoT: Update 1.18.1 – Common Test 5 Is Here!

During the second launch of Frontline, some players encountered issues like freezes that tended to happen by the end of their Frontline battles. We want to make sure that these issues are resolved before the third launch of Frontline begins.

To duly explore all possible causes of these problems emerging, everyone on the test server will receive 30 Combat Reserve Points. This is enough to have every Combat Reserve unlocked before your first Frontline battle.

We have also dealt with a number of bugs that happened rarely in the mode:

Airstrike and Artillery Strike Combat Reserves now work correctly for those playing in SPGs.
The reward roster has been fixed; now it offers equipment Directives of the player’s choice.
UI issues now aren’t appearing when the player respawns or after they switch from the game client to another application and back.
The server choice window is now displayed correctly during ceasefire periods.
Also, several minor issues have been resolved.

TEST GUIDE

— Test client installer —

To take part, you’ll need the Wargaming.net Game Center (WGC), the latest Common Test game client, and a Wargaming.net account created prior to the cut-off date (see below).

Eligibility

All Wargaming.net accounts created before July 30, at 23:59 CEST can participate in the test.

Download and Install the Test Client

TEST CLIENT INSTALLER

Run the test client installer.
Choose a different installation folder from where your regular World of Tanks game files are.
Select the freshly installed test client from the dropdown menu at the top of the WGC.
Roll out—and remember to pass on your feedback!
