The M Project, a Tier VIII American medium tank, is coming to the Supertest. This vehicle features armouring reinforced with screens attached to the hull and turret.
The frontal turret and hull armouring reach 330 mm and 102 mm, respectively. The vehicle’s durability is 1,300 HP. It has a top speed of 40 km/h and specific power of 17 h.p./t.
This vehicle is armed with a 105 mm gun that can deal 320 damage per shot. The penetration value of the standard shell is 230 mm, while the special HEAT shell penetrates 300 mm. The aiming time is 3 s, the dispersion is 0.44 m, the gun depression/elevation angles are –10/20 degrees, and the reload time is 9.6 s.
The M Project cannot boast of good dynamic and sharpshooter accuracy. However, all this is balanced with excellent damage per minute and very high vehicle protection values. You can be sure that this medium tank can fight on the first line along with heavy tanks

Turret armour seems to stronk for tier 8, imo, unless they give it some obvious weakspot it can’t hide.
i think that part of the turret under the gun should be an easy pen like ambt
Modern replacement for the T26E4? WG wanted the premium-MM tanks to go away in the past and I doubt that this aspiration has changed.
If they want to do that they should un-do the buff and drag preferential tanks to tier 7 in some cases.
without affecting the payment.
Good examples of this would be the KV-5 and JT-88.
While others like Spershing and Type could still be in tier 8
Garbage aim time and accuracy but who needs them when this thing is basically a heavy tank in a medium tank slot. Guess the new standard of “strong” armor is armor that is immune to gold, since so many love to throw it around. Thanks to them I guess!
this is basically a supped up M47M
in theory the flat armor on the turret should be spaced armor with the original turret behind it, I think so because we can see the rangefinders “peeking” from both sides of the additional armor
other than that the turret looks like the monstrosity the Germans installed on the M48 tank
I think we need to wait to see actual armour profiles. We all know WG tendency to state only the thickest armour value. Which in some cases means only tiny strip with the rest being paper.
Honestly a regular old M47 Patton seems like it ought to be a Tier VIII premium medium.
While the “M Project” looks an awful lot like the German “Super M48” project.
