World of Tanks 1.5.1 Patch notes

Main Changes:

1. Session Statistics

Added the Session Statistics functionality that give players the possibility to monitor their detailed battle statistics for the day.  It will be collected for all Random Battles, except for Grand Battles. Session statistics are automatically cleared once a day, and all your daily activities are reset. However, you can reset the current statistics yourself and start gathering it again. The data are saved on the server, so Session Statistics will be available in all players’ game clients.

Session Statistics will be available right in the Garage, to the left of the Notification Center button.  Using the new functionality players can:

  • Check the change in the Personal Rating (WTR) over a game day.
  • View general statistics on income/expenses based on the results of battles played
  • View their performance based on the results of battles played per session (or per day)
  • See how effective they are when playing on various vehicles for the current session
  • View the influence of the current gaming session on the value of the parameters for all time (your game dynamics)
  • Reset the current statistics and start gathering it again
  • Session Statistics gives players the direct access to the Hall of Fame to view more detailed daily statistics

Also, as part of the work on Session Statistics, we slightly reworked the Hall of Fame and added to it:

  • Parameter information for all time
  • Indicators of the impact of current daily statistics on the parameters for all time

2. Maps

With Update 1.5.1, Kharkov will come back and get significant changes:

  • Battle type: Standard Battle for Tier IV-X vehicles
  • Its size has increased to 1000×1000 meters
  • Changed the location of the bases and rotated the map 45 degrees to give players more space for tactical maneuvers and let them try different tactics
  • The urban area has undergone some changes. The western area of the city outskirts has been completely reworked to ensure more enjoyable gameplay for scouts, medium tanks, as well as TDs.
  • The map has been reworked in the HD-quality.

3. Crew Books

Added the Crew Books (new entity) to the game. This is an applicable consumable that adds a certain amount of experience to one or several crew members.

The Crew Books can be received from Rewards for Merit. Moreover, players will be able to purchase the Training Manual for credits (via the interface the Crew Books interface).

All received Crew Books will be stored in a special section of the Depot. The number of Crew Books of each type in storage is not limited. There are four types of these game items:

  • Training Booklet  + 20,000 XP to each crew member (within a single vehicle).
  • Training Guide  + 100,000 XP to each crew member (within a single vehicle).
  • Training Manual  + 250,000 XP to each crew member (within a single vehicle). This game item can be purchased for 2,000,000 credits via the Crew Books interface.
  • Personal Training Manual  +850,000 XP to the selected crew member.

Crew Books are divided by nations. Moreover, the Crew Books can be used only if the Major Qualification of all crew members is 100% and the Specialization corresponds to the vehicle, in which the crew should be seated.
Personal Training Manual has no usage restrictions.

When the update is released, all players will receive 11 Training Booklets (one per nation).

The Crew Books cannot be applied to crew members whose Major Qualification level is increased to 100% using equipement or consumables. Only the base value of the Major Qualification level is considered (e.g., if you use the Improved Combat Rations increasing the Major Qualification level to 105%, the Crew Books cannot be used, since the base level of the Major Qualification will make only 95%).

4. Updated the Bootcamp Opening Video
