I’d write a long, boring article about it, but the events which happened a century ago are best described in this video:

  1. I’ll just add that Foch pretty much behaved like an *sshole in that armistice wagon.
    Would he have behaved better, who knows how many lives could have been spared in the next decades… but no. “Superiority” and “complete capitulation, no conditions” over everything.
