Some of these are mission for the Object 260. Which is a tier X heavy tank with great armor, a great gun and great mobility.
And what we get instead is a tier 8 medium with nothing but alpha. Bad armor, bad accuracy, bad dpm, meh mobility, big size, and even the alpha isnt that impressive with all the 440 alpha premiums these days…
Am I the only one who sees the problem here or… ?
They should simplify some missions (mainly the \”do 8k dmg\” one which is TD-15-4, and all arty-related missions) and/or buff the tank (give it back the original 490 alpha to make it truly unique, or make it a premium tank, or buff its accuracy and aim time). Because so far this set of missions is absolutely not worth the time and effort. It\’s just a sample of the first campaign except for a worse reward. The Excalibur missions were far more interesting to do, and even the 279 missions feel easier.

The only thing worse then giving nothing at all is tempting, but making nearly impossible demands.
A game with 25% RNG means many people will never see this tank, no matter how well they play. Many others will get it but will be disappointed by the effort required to get mediocre reward.
Personal missions suck, they are toxic, damaging gameplay for all players, even if they are not into missions. WG should be ashamed.
How exactly missions are toxic and gamedamaging?
Missions encourage Yolo and zero to Win the game importance you just don\’t care if you Win or Lose and die as long as the mission is completed, complete missions if you never win a game just defeat is good enough, only \’secondary condition is Win\’ but you complete mission with Primary not secondary THATS why missions suck and can fuck gameplay with yolo loser teams ……. ok?
Ultimately I think missions don\’t matter much. Bad players still gonna suck, good players will try to do their best, unicums will hopefully carry. Somebody will always yolo and die and you can\’t do anything about that. I personally stopped caring about winning about a year ago and I\’m having a lot more fun with WoT right now, I advice you do the same.
I agree completely winning is Luck and RNG in team MM, I also gave up thinking skills and try to Win matter in WOT long ago, BUT WG do there very best to dumb down and tomato down the game more and more ~ shame really
PMs are the only reason to play the game once you’ve unlocked everything else and don’t have the time for CW.
These missions are much harder than the previous ones. Even the Excalibur, which I don\’t consider overly difficult, is taking much longer than I thought simply due to the repetition required. I have already completed all of the Obj 260 missions, but these are another level. As for the hate on the missions, it\’s a mixed bag in my opinion. I literally play this game for the grind, so these missions give me a purpose other than the constant drone of shitty teams. I don\’t play CW, so why shouldn\’t I be rewarded for my loyalty to the game, and the skills I\’ve developed over time? Getting reward tanks for CW is like having a second job – I don\’t have time for that nonsense. That said, you\’re right, these missions do encourage bad behavior. I had thought they would fix it for round 2, but they are just as bad really.
The one thing different here that I think WG is accounting for, is the ability to use orders to bypass missions. So finishing all of the Excalibur missions with honors all but guarantees you the second ones, and if you manage a few of those on your own, you can save them for the tier x. I think this is why these missions are more difficult.
