    1. My question is will the enemy team see the bush shaking like that? It’d be a nice needed nerf to camo if the enemy team sees that, but at the same time it will negatively affect peeps on lower end machines.

      1. Leaves moving because of gunfire is very likely just going to be a visual effect calculated client-side that can probably even be disabled for weaker machines. So chances are you wont see the chockwaves of gunfire from tanks that are not spotted. That would break the game as a whole, because anyone (especialy TDs and long range snipers) could just blindfire without requiring actual spotting.
That would affect map design, economy, camo, survivability, everything.

        1. Right, because WG has never done anything game breaking (super camo, freemium rounds, OP TDs, OP prems, OP pen) before. I would think if they were smart they’d limit it to 200-300m max render range on the movement of bushes. Including it would encourage peeps to upgrade their PCs IMO.

    1. Everyone can see fences breaking and trees falling. That’s been in the game sonce the beggining, why would it change ?

Leaves moving because of gunfire however is very likely just going to be a visual effect calculated client-side that can probably even be disabled for weaker machines. So chances are you wont see the chockwaves of gunfire from tanks that are not spotted. That would break the game as a whole, not just arty, because anyone (especialy TDs and long range snipers) could just blindfire without requiring actual spotting.

And if you’re still salty about arty now that a gun that used to do 500dmg with splash will barely do 200dmg on a direct hit, maybe you should start working on your own gameplay instead of minding other’s. If getting hit for 200dmg every 30s causes more troubles to you than tanks unloading 2000dmg clips in 10s, you have problems.

  1. Instead of reworking all the maps to HD, they should be focusing on getting rid of the terrible maps first. That would save them a lot of time and money.
