WG Cells in Seattle Closed Down

Wargaming has closed the WG Cells office in Seattle, which was responsible for the development of mobile games. 64 people lost their job.

“Each game released by us became widely known, but this didn’t make them steamroll sales” – David Bloom, co-founder and head of the American division of WG Cells, explained.

Bloom also noticed that the closing wasn’t a surprise neither for the team nor for himself. WG Cells released 3 products thus far: Loot & Legends, Fantastic Plastic Squad and Smash Squad.

What will happen to the Cypriot and Ukrainian WG Cells offices is still unknown. WG Cells was launched in October 2015.
