To earn the “Hammer” (and exclusive Victor’s medal), you’ll need to earn a specific amount of points which can be tracked in your “Ops” tab. You’ll need to progress through five time-locked tasks where you’ll need to earn a set amount of points:

  • You’ll earn one (1) point if you place in the top 5 XP earners on your team
  • You’ll earn one (1) point if you win the battle
  • You’ll earn two (2) points for completing BOTH criteria (win and place in the top 5 XP earners)
  • You’ll LOSE one (1) point if you lose a battle AND don’t place in the top 5 XP earners
  • Your points won’t change if you lose a battle AND place in the top 5 XP earners

Win a battle or place in the top 5 XP earners to earn a point; do both and earn two points. Check the dedicated forum thread for additional details. If you own the “Hammer” and complete the Hammer Challenge, the Hammer Challenge: Anvil will grant 1,000  upon completion.

Light Tanks:

• Renault NC-31, Vickers Mk. E Type B, Type 2597 Chi-Ha, M5A1 Stuart, 59-16, WZ-131,  WZ-132

• Type 64

Chinese light tanks are nimble and boast some of the best mobility and maneuverability in-game! These low-profile speedsters can be played as “light-medium tanks” given their potent cannons and rounded turrets!

Medium Tanks:

• Type T-34, Type 58, T-34-1, T-34-2, WZ-120, 121

• T-34-3

Chinese medium tanks combine mobility and firepower to form ferocious flankers. At higher tiers, they lose their rates of fire for pure damage per shot, making them more adept at in-your-face brawls!

Update 3.0: Nuts and Bolts! Yeah! Big things, right? Well, sort of. It’s true this update will have new vehicles, updated maps and advanced features, but also gives us at Wargaming some new stuff to play with.
Examples include new filtering options for your in-game stats, team training customizations, advancements in eSports and more! Our mad scientists will continue to hit the lab and you’ll see cool things in future updates, but for now, take a look at the latest content!

German Spähpanzer I C Incoming


This high-tier light tank replacement for the Aufklärungspanzer Panther can do more than just scout! The Spähpanzer I C may not be the most agile of light tanks, but it makes up for that with a pair of lethal guns at its disposal: a high-velocity 90mm single-shot gun or an autoloader equivalent! Tankers who know the ELC AMX playstyle (hybrid light tank/tank destroyer) will feel right at home with the Sp.Pz.I C.
Take this “light tank destroyer” out for a spin and tell us which gun you prefer!

Details

  • Players who owned the Aufklärungspanzer Panther will get the Spähpanzer 1 C
  • All Tank XP and package unlocks previously in the Aufkl. Panther will be tranferred over to the Sp.Pz.I C
  • All customization (camouflage, emblem, inscriptions) will transfer over
  • Consumables, Equipment and ammo will be refunded in Silver
  • Garage Slot will stay with the Sp.Pz. I C
  • Crew will transfer to the new tank

American Low-Tier Shuffle

Low-tier vehicles in the American tech tree will undergo some changes ranging from new vehicles being added, rebalancing and changing class designations outright.

  • The T18 and T82, two TDs known for their notorious howitzers, will be rebalanced and join the artillery branch at tier III and IV, respectively
  • Replacing the T18 and T82 in the tank destroyer branch will be the T3 HMC and T56 GMC, respectively
  • The T57 artillery is going buh-bye (don’t ask; rumor is the T57 Heavy doesn’t like sharing names), replaced with the T1 HMC
  • Same Garage Slots will be used for the replaced vehicles
  • Crew will transfer to the new vehicles
