With the release of patch 1.4 we will get an event called Pedal to the Metal. It’s about the wheeled vehicles and as a reward we can get the Gendron Somua tier II premium vehicle.
Frontline will start on the 11st of February (but this is already known)
Between the 21st of February and 6th of March we will get a marathon for the Panhard EBR 75 (FL 10)

Earlier this year, we announced that Referral Program 1.0 was drawing to a close. Well, we’re excited to announce that the version 2.0 is almost here, so get ready to grab some Recruits and earn more together.
Any player who has played 1,000 or more battles in the game will be able to become a Commander and invite Recruits.
You can be recruited by a Commander if any of the following conditions are met:
The World of Tanks Referral Program 2.0 will consist of three consecutive stages. To complete each stage, the Commander and their Recruit(s) need to earn a certain number of Referral Points by accomplishing special missions in Random Battles.

Our dev team spent a long time discussing which vehicles should be included in the new wheeled branch. As a result, we opted for six wheeled vehicles of which five can be researched from Tier VI to X, and one is Premium. All of them have historical origins, and only the Tier X vehicle was slightly changed from its historical counterpart.NOTE: Wheeled vehicles differ from “regular” tanks due to their new unique mechanics: the lock-on feature, two driving modes. These mechanics are added with each Tier gradually as you research new vehicles. As their Tier rises, the difference in maneuvering and speed between the two available modes, Default and Drive, also increases

Update 1.0 was truly a landmark for World of Tanks. It enriched our game with a completely revamped engine, Core, with sparkly new graphics and high-quality musical scores.
With all the hard work put in last year, the game has become more visually stunning. But what you might not know is that, behind the impressive graphics, a key part of the new engine opened the floodgates for performance optimization and further implementation of concurrent rendering. Thanks to new technologies, we’re able to get the most out of each and every graphics card and clock it at 100%.
But we didn’t stop there. We’ve done our best to make the most of the CPU’s power too.
