You “master” a tank when you earn more Base XP in a single battle than the highest average Base XP earned in a single battle by 99% of players of that same tank within the past seven (7) days.

Simply put, just try and beat the average — doing so earns you 6×Tank Mastery emblems!

If you attain mastery in one of the tanks below while the Tank Mastery mission is active, you also get a +100% (2 hours) Free XP Personal Reserve!

Main Changes

Maps

  • Added the new Kraftwerk map for the Frontline mode (map type: winter, European).

Fixed Issues

  • Reduced the respawn cooldown in the Frontline mode from 30 to 10 seconds.
  • When pressing ESC during the animation of a decal changing its state (e.g., size, position, etc.), the screen no longer hangs.
  • Fixed the issue related to the display of the IS-7’s left track.
  • Fixed some localization issues.
  • Fixed the issue when the 3-D style outline overlapped the style information menu.
  • Fixed the issues when the Settings window could not be closed with ESC after switching between tabs.

  • Increased the ammo rack capacity from 16 to 20 shells
  • Changed the aiming time from 2.3 to 1.9 s
  • Changed dispersion during movement from 0.18 to 0.16 m
  • Changed dispersion on hull traverse from 0.18 to 0.16 m
  • Now the vehicle can turn on the spot
  • Changed the engine power from 500 to 530 h.p.

  • Changed the power of the Daimler D2458 V-8 engine from 250 to 265 h.p.

There’s a new edition of the Update 1.6‘s Common Test coming up. Starting today, 25 July, you can jump into it to discover our latest changes, as well as one massive introduction: a new map for the upcoming episodes of Frontline.

Be the First to Try A New Frontline Map

A new map for the Frontline mode, dubbed “Kraftwerk”, has just entered open testing. The rules are familiar to you: there are six zones (bases) to defend or capture, and five large guns (the main targets) for the attackers to destroy.

The new map is set in the suburbs of a post-WWII Central European city during winter. Here, you can battle it out in open patches with complex terrain, small towns, ruins of old castles, military bunkers, and more.

World of Tanks Homefront – Total amount of fuel canisters available

Homefront came with the unfortunate addition of Fuel cans that allow to play the event for a single battle for each of fuel cans available. Here is a total list of cans available:

• 24 canisters can be obtained free of charge for daily missions throughout the entire event.
• 24 cans are provided free of charge every day throughout the event.
• 12 canisters can be obtained (or bought for gold) for all second division levels (1 division 2 level = 2 canisters).
• 24 cans can be obtained (or bought for gold) for all third division levels (1 division of 3 levels = 4 canisters).
• 84 cans will be available for the entire duration of the event.

World of Tanks 1.6 Release Date

Together with the launch of the new game mode, WG advanced the 1.6 WoT release date. The update will be released immediately after the end of the Homefront event.

Previously, 1.6 RU was to be released  on August 6 (Tuesday), but rather will be released on the night of August 5-6. The rest of the regions as always will get the patch a day later.


Homefront will work until 03:30 Moscow time on August 6 (before the servers are disconnected).

Whether the patch will be preloaded is unknown.Remember, that with the release of 1.6 from the game will be permanently withdrawn mode “Team battle”.
