Based on testing results, we’re applying changes to Defence and Lüshun.

X Defence

• Main battery reload time reduced: 28 to 16 s.
• Main battery accuracy increased. Accuracy settings changed to standard cruiser dispersion settings similar to Siegfried and Sevastopol.

X Lüshun

• Detectability range by sea increased: 6.9 to 7.2 km. Other detectability ranges were reduced accordingly.

A detailed look at a new way of acquiring ships in the Armory.

What is a Trade-In?

For the first two weeks of Update12.7, a special tab will be available in the Armory where you can exchange certain Tier V-X premium and special ships for a significant discount on the purchase of other premium and special ships with doubloons.

How it works

1. In the “Ship to Trade” section under the Armory’s “Trade-in” tab, you select one of the premium or special ships that you own.
2. In the “Ship to Get” section, you select the new ship you want.
3. A part of the value of your existing ship will be used as a discount to purchase a new one: After selecting both ships, you will see the exact applicable discount along with the amount of doubloons you need to pay to purchase the new ship.

Let’s talk about the massive visual and sound changes in the coming update.

HD textures and collision model updates

We continue to update maps and ports to HD quality. In version 12.7, highly detailed textures will be added to the New York port, as well as the maps New Dawn, Polar, and Islands.

On these three maps, the collision model of the islands will also be updated – it will exactly match their contours in the game. This will eliminate situations in which a ship passing close to land could get stuck even without visual contact with an island. We will continue to update the island collision models on the rest of the maps in the future.

Let’s talk about the main features of Update 12.7.

Dockyard: Lüshun

The construction of a Tier X Pan-Asian destroyer Lüshun will begin on the Tan Yun dockyard.

The construction consists of 35 phases, 30 of which can be completed via the Dockyard’s combat mission groups. Combat missions can be completed during Updates 12.7 and 12.8, as well as the first three weeks of Update 12.9. The Dockyard itself will last until the start of Update 12.10.

Japanese researchable battleships Yumihari, Adatara, and Bungo, as well as Japanese premium battleship Tsurugi have been added to the game for testing.

For the upcoming closed testing session, a branch of Japanese battleships will be added to the game. At Tier VIII, the main battery is represented by eight 410mm guns, and at Tiers IX and X – by eight and ten 457mm guns, respectively.
