Swiss Tanks: The development of the KW 30 and the Panzer 58

As many of you know Wargaming released the Panzer 58 ‘Mutz’ back in January/ February 2016 and which was one of the better Premium vehicles they’ve added so far. Well, while I should be happy for WG to add the Panzer 58 into WoT since I’m a proud Swiss guy and I do love all things Swiss; Watches, Utility pocket knives, Chocolate, Cuckoo clocks, and a highly secretive banking system etc.

The problem here was it was in the German Tech tree. That is what got me into researching because it was very upsetting and somewhat upsetting for my Swiss player friends and myself to see our neutral country lumped in with a country we classed as a threat during the War. Certainly adding a Swiss tank like that didn’t add a lot of Swiss interest as far as I can tell. Researching it though I’ve been looking at the KW 30 and the Panzer 58, and I can tell you that WG messed things up quite a bit.

WoWS – NEW SHIPS – CLOSED TEST 12.8

Update 12.8 brings four new ships. French battleship Picardie, Italian cruiser Michelangelo, Soviet battleship Navarin, and Soviet cruiser Komissar.

French battleship Picardie, Tier VIII

Battleship Picardie’s design is our hypothetical alteration of the Lyon-class battleship. The key difference between Picardie and Lyon is the main battery. Picardie is armed with sixteen 305 mm Modèle 1910 guns in improved mounts similar to those installed on cruiser Toulon.

Based on testing results, we’re applying changes to Schill, Scarlet Thunder, Defence, Kitakami, and U-4501.

VIII Schill

  • Main battery reload time increased: 18.1 to 20s.
  • AP shell penetration capabilities increased.
  • Torpedo range reduced: 10 to 8km.
  • Torpedo speed increased: 64 to 65 kt.
  • HP reduced: 56,800 to 44,000
  • Fire duration increased: 30 to 60s.
  • Added Main Battery Reload Booster consumable with the following parameters: (Main battery reload time -67%, Action time- 20s, Reload time – 120s, Charges – 3)
  • Damage Control Party consumable replaced with Fast Damage Control Team consumable with the following parameters: (Action time – 10s, Reload time – 40s, Charges – 4)
  • Defensive AA Fire consumable has been moved to the same slot as Hydroacoustic Search consumable.
