Description: — An all-season style to commemorate the annual holiday for remembering the dead on November 1–2. The holiday, which is celebrated in Mexico and other Latin American countries, can trace its roots to the Aztecs and other indigenous peoples. It is believed that the souls of the dead awaken and return to the living world to their loved ones. In turn, their living family members treat the deceased as honored guests and provide the deceased’s favorite foods and other items as offerings.

Update 1.10.1 Release Date

According to Russian sources, the launch of the new update to all regions is scheduled for next week:

ASIA: October 19;
NA: October 20;
EU: October 21;
RU: October 21.

For this reason, two new mod folders will be created: ./mods/1.10.1.0/ and ./res_mods/1.10.1.0/.

WoWS ST 0.9.10, Arpeggio of Blue Steel and Black Friday

New content dedicated to Arpeggio of Blue Steel and Black Friday has been added to the game.

The partnership with Arpeggio of Blue Steel was one of the first for World of Warships. We’re happy to announce that ARP Maya (analogue of Atago), ARP Yamato, a permanent camouflage for Musashi, and three new commanders will be added to the game as part of a new collaboration.

WoWS ST 0.9.10, Tone, Ise, Werner Voss

The concepts of hybrids and skip bombers will be tested in the near future. During the test, ships and planes will be adjusted taking both their new type of gameplay and combat efficiency into account. We’re now ready to share their initial parameters.

Three versions of Tone and Ise were added, differing in the type of planes: Tone1 and Ise1 carry torpedo bombers, Tone2 and Ise2 – dive bombers with HE bombs, Tone3 and Ise3 – attack aircraft. Hybrids have less firepower than usual for their type and tier, and should therefore combine their standard armament with their planes to deal effective damage. Each of them carries one full squadron with one attack flight. Aircraft take off quickly and don’t return to the ship. The restoration of aircraft goes not one by one, but the entire squadron at once. Hybrids’ squadrons don’t have consumables, and their engine boost is less effective than that of carriers’ planes.

WoWS ST 0.9.10, changes to test ships

Changes to Italian battleships and other ships.

We adjusted the parameters of these ships based on testing results.

Italian battleships:

  • Detectability range by ships was increased:
    • Andrea Doria, Tier VI: from 13.32 to 13.82 km;
    • Francesco Caracciolo, Tier VII: from 13.32 to 14.32km;
    • Vittorio Veneto, Tier VIII: from 14.94 to 16.24 km;
    • Cristoforo Colombo, Tier X: from 16.38 to 17.88 km.
  • Other detectability ranges of these ships were increased accordingly.

X Vermont:

  • Speed loss due to steering was reduced.

V Oklahoma:

  • AP shell armor penetration was reduced.
  • Secondary battery firing range increased from 4.5 to 5.5 km.

X Plymouth:

  • Main battery traverse speed increased from 7 to 8 degrees per second.
  • Main battery reload time reduced from 7.5 to 6.5 s.

Japanese battleship Hizen, Tier IX:

  • Number of hit points reduced from 80,700 to 75,900
