World of Tanks – Download Update 1.7.1 Manually Avoiding Game Center! (Download the Patch ANYWHERE, Even on Public Internet)

Limited on download bandwidth in the place of residence? Run to the neighbor and download the update files.

Are you at work with access to internet? Why do you have to wait to download the update files after returning home?

You can also download the required files at work or with a friend’s phone.

As you know some time ago Wargaming decided to remove alternative methods of downloading updates from worldoftanks.eu, file by file.

Some time ago I decided to restore it.

This topic will be updated when Wargaming releases a new patch or fix.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

• Turn off the game center.
  
• Go to the World_of_Tanks folder and the updates folder. Create a new folder in it

wot_1.7.1.1826_eu

• Download these files:

wot_1.7.1.20201_1.7.0.20176_client (293 MB)

wot_1.7.1.20201_1.7.0.20167_sdcontent (347 MB)

wot_1.7.1.20201_1.7.0.20167_hdcontent (157 MB)

• After downloading, move files to the wot_1.7.1.1826_eu folder
• The game center will download additional files the day WG gives the green light to 1.7.1 update.
• After successfully updating the game, don’t forget to delete unnecessary files from the updates folder.
